Do you have a scrappy unicorn? Something you missed out on and are always searching for...thinking maybe, one day you will find it?!
For me that unicorn is October Afternoon's Rocket Age. I love that line to the moon and back (tee hee) but I never got it when it was new. I have slowly, slowly been acquiring bits here and pieces there. Today, I checked eBay for some insane reason and BINGO... Rocket Age 8x8 pad! I almost died. I have most of it now...aside from a few 12x12 sheets. I love it so much I bought doubles when I could. Now I just have to find some precious pictures to scrap with it...I have some cute ones of my son when he was about 2 and half that will probably work well.
And on to the next unicorn...
So what is your unicorn? And what would you scrap with it?

The oft broken Martha Steward scalloped heart. I would only want one that works.
I wish I had bought a whole ton of mini album kits from the kit club that I love. She makes a mini kit and a layout or two or more every month. I would have loved 10 mini kits or more. I have a couple. But that is my Unicorn.
I also missed not getting a lavender or pink Making Memories tote back when I had the chance and could order wholesale. Mistake!

I know! I have a large pinked circle, but often it is bigger than I want The Martha Stewart one is no longer made, but ... you can get the Tim Holtz one which is new: www.scrapbook.com/store/sz-660178.htmlI am considering this one. It is 1 1/8 th inches. If I could find it easily in Australia I would definitely get one.

I bought 4 Martha Stewart pinked punches (don't ask...) and I have the pinked circles from Spellbinders. I love them!

Apologies- I had trouble quoting two posts within my post. I meant to give comfort regarding the loss of the opportunity to snag the Making Memories tote- I loved my black one but had to retire it as the faux leather peeled away after a couple of years. My friend had a pink one and hers looks truly awful now, hope this helps.

Congrats Imperia on finding most of the line that was elusive to you - Great job of persistence and it has paid off for you.
My Unicorn is a bit different - it is all the photos I didn't or can not take. We have so few family photos from when I was a child or before, and I can't find any family members that have any either. With many of the projects I am scrapping now I need to obtain photos from places all over the country, and thus far I have been unable to "rally the troops" to help me get those photos that elude me so that I can have the photos I need to scrapbook. I had hoped to be able to be in a position to travel and take my own, but that has not been possible to this point.

Mine was Cosmo Cricket Little Dutch Girl pp. I love the colors and patterns! Then I got a great deal on it and I don't know what to do with it. I thought I could sell it online but haven't found any takers yet.

Mine would be a Christmas line by Zoe Pearn for My Mind's Eye from a few years back. I can't even remember the name anymore but could dig something up in my studio to find it. Anyway, it had colors like pink, lime, light blue and a lighter red and darker green with cute little snowmen and stuff. I didn't discover the line until I found a glittered 12x12 pad of it at Hobby Lobby, and of course by that time it's too late to find the real deal anywhere anymore. I used almost every scrap of that paper on one of my December Daily albums and I wish I could have found more. Later on they came out with a 6x6 pad with many of the same designs and I think I must have bought 3-4 of them and I'm totally hoarding them to save for the right project. What's worse is that when I started searching for the paper online, I discovered she had a line of flannel and cotton fabrics with those same designs through Riley Blake, and of course I was too late to that parade too. I found someone on Etsy that had a pack of scraps and end cuts of it left and I snapped it right up. It would have been so fun to make some cute pillow cases or something for my DD out of that fabric! ETA: The line was Be Merry and it was so cute. I would have loved the sheet of stickers or die cuts or chipboard or whatever it was that went with the papers.

A long time ago K & Company came out with these epoxy stickers. I had to get them. I loved these and had to get them. I found them at dMarie at the time. I got two packages of them. Then Michaels got them in and I had a 30% off coupon so I bought 3 more packages of them. These were THE BEST STICKERS in the WORLD. I loved them. I had to force myself not to go back to Michaels and get more. I was obsessed with these stickers. I never liked their Life's Journeys line but they made these specific stickers...
(No, I have never used them... as I know there were people wondering.)

I'd never heard of something we missed out on being called Unicorns, but mine would be Radiant Pearls. I didn't get them all when they were being made and now buy them from eBay. It's a cute word though so I'm using it from now on. Off to check eBay this morning for those little shiny, shimmery Unicorns in small jars!

Actually, I can't think of anything product related, but maybe like maribeth it's not having photos of a lot of family members - especially on my Dad's side. And I don't think there's any way of finding them now.

Anna Griffin's Engraved Endearments Pop-Up Card Kit. I knew I didn't need it, but I went ahead and bought one during the last HSN marathon. It got lost in the mail - USPS said they delivered it, but it never showed up. I hope whoever got it appreciated it. HSN was totally awesome and refunded me right away, but the card kit was sold out. *sigh*

I know I would happily take photos locally for you and I'm sure others around the country would also...maybe if you could post some of the locations you need photos from, the refu-peas could help

My unicorn would be DH's official military photo when he was in the Air Force. His mother throws everything away and doesn't have one!!! We met in college after he was discharged.

maribeth - Could you find the photos online? I wanted a better photo of the railroad tunnel on the White Pass & Yukon rail line in Skagway. It was crazy foggy when we rode the train and my photo was really bad. I found it online, printed it, and used it in my scrapbook. I put a tiny note explaining the story in the layout.

I am looking for a Crop in Style soft sided zipper supply case that has a top compartment and a bottom compartment. My friend has one and I want one too. I've been using a Cropper Hopper zipper case and it is straining at the zipper. I've already been through 2 of them.
I've never seen one on ebay or anyplace really other than the one my friend has. Hers is blue.

Well shock of all shock this thread made me check ebay again and lo and behold someone is selling the exact thing I've been looking for - EXCEPT it is $13 shipping and the tote itself is on a buy it now for almost $25 so I guess I don't want it that bad. It's used but in good shape, but still not something I want to pay $40 for www.ebay.com/itm/121749055955?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

It was crazy foggy when we rode the train and my photo was really bad. I found it online, printed it, and used it in my scrapbook. I put a tiny note explaining the story in the layout. I do, do some of that, but I like to respect the copyright laws of photography. However, I probably would use something like you are describing, as it is a public place that there are probably hundreds of photos taken (by the way we were booked to take that excursion in 2005, but there was a landslide on the track and the train was delayed, they cleared the track but we decided not to go). In this post I was really talking about actual family photos, and also my Courthouse project which I would like to obtain from people who would be willing to photograph their county court house and send it to me. I don't want to get those photos off the internet without permission to use them. I was able to obtain Ohio, Arkansas and Washington from people who have taken photos of those Courthouses already, but I would love to get my fellow scrappers to take their county courthouse and send it to me, this would be such a wonderful addition to the story of my project.
