Just watched the first episode of season 4 (no spoilers) - did it seem obvious to anyone else that it was different directors of producers? It had a different feel to me.

We were only going to watch episode 1, but watched 2 also. Man, I love this series. Such great writing and multi-dimensional characters. I, who found Lou Diamond Phillips annoying in most roles, love him in this series. It is a perfect role for him.

Is this a new season and it's only going to be on Netflix? I need to let my sister know right away. We've been waiting. ETA beautiful middle-aged man eye candy.

And yes on the man eye-candy! I got the email from Netflix today about this season's release and we started as soon as dh got home from work at 10:30 pm.

Or is it just a few episodes with more to come? DH watches this and is trying to figure out if it is worth joining Netflix to watch. Yes, the whole season is available. It is a Netflix-only show, like Orange is the New Black, and Netflix releases the whole season at one time for you to watch at your leisure.

I got about half way through the second episode, until DH had to commandeer my TV to watch football. Damn DireTV and their local channels. GRR! But I'll be bingewatching this weekend.

had to go to the kids' house to watch, we don't have Netflix...and had to pace myself to watch only one episode..
OMG, not the ending to the cliff hanger I was hoping for. But still LOVE the show.

I'm anxiously waiting for dh to get home tonight so that we can start watching it! It'll be a relief to watch something new (besides Amerian Ninja Warrior ) until the fall tv season really kicks in.

I wasn't familiar with the show so looked it up! Very cool it's set in Wyoming. Not far from me! I wonder if it was actually filmed there? I've got 3 more seasons of the Gilmore Girls and I'll move onto Longmire.

I miss Longmire! how does one get netflex? Go to Netflix.com, sign up for membership to their streaming service ($8/mo but you can cancel anytime), and then you can watch everything they have available for streaming on any device, tablet, computer, smartphone, or on a regular TV if you have the right hardware to go with it. They also have a separate DVD rental service, also $8/mo, if you prefer. They send you one DVD at a time until you return it and get another.

I've got 3 more seasons of the Gilmore Girls and I'll move onto Longmire. It's filmed in New Mexico. Mostly it works but the houses are wrong sometimes. I laughed last night when I was watching and they were visiting idaho falls, idaho. They walked up to a big stucco house...ummm nope. but it's so good that it doesn't matter much. The writer of the novels grew up in Wyoming, from my understanding, and he has the mannerisms and feel of Wyoming down pat. (I grew up in SE Idaho and spent a large part of every summer in Wyoming.)

I'll have to see if they take a master card gc - that's what I use these days. My tv is very, very old - over 20 I'm sure. No hookup at this time for a dvd player. My computer is pushing 6 maybe. It's very slow, not sure I could watch a whole show on it. Maybe 1 show would be in installments? lol!
my handyman is coming to do some things here next weekend. He's about 30 and not as electronically challenged as I am. Hopefully, he'll be able to figure out my best way to go on this - maybe hook up my dvd player to 1 of the 2 tvs.
