Tonight I'm making roast pork, mashed poatoes & gravy and roasted carrots for dinner. It seems this meal is one my DD always wants me to make when I'm here in CT visiting This afternoon I'll make apple crisp to have with ice cream for dessert. What are you having?

I have a migraine so we've decided not to go out for dinner tonight. Ds requested beer brats so we will have those with some potato salad and maybe baked beans.

It's almost 8 pm here, and for dinner we had marinated chicken, mashed potatoes and roasted veggies. No dessert, because I was exhausted and just couldn't find the energy to make anything.

We've been out all day so it's been a quick and easy wholewheat pasta with tomato and pancetta sauce (jar). Followed by fresh raspberries

I think we'll be having sandwiches. I've got some pastrami and turkey, plus some cheese. Everyone can just make their own.
I usually put something together on Saturday for Sunday's meal, but I was gone most of the day. Cause I went to see Josh Groban! Whoop whoop! The concert was fantastic! I would do it again in a heartbeat.

We had Bon Appetit Spinach pizza - which was not enough for two people (very small pizza). So DH had a hot dog too. Waiting for 3 p.m. so I can watch the Saints game. Geaux Saints !

Just burgers, poached egg and fries. Dessert is a lemon cupcake with home made lemon curd in the middle and white chocolate frosting, made by DS.

It's football season so Sunday dinners from now on will be something done in the crockpot. Tonight it's smothered round steak with green beans and mashed potatoes.

I took a baked sausage spaghetti casserole out of the freezer so I can feed my sister later on. She and my mom are making pickles which they do for a full day every other year. I steer clear of the pickle-making (except for making sure I get my fair share of the finished product) but my job is feeding the workers as needed. The other choice is chicken noodle soup, which there's tons of leftover from last night, but she wants spaghetti.

ETA: I ended up making curry roasted potato wedges instead of the rice.

I caught part 2 of the back-to-school crud that's going around here. So, we're doing leftovers. Luckily, we're swimming in leftovers. You can have chicken tacos, turkey sandwiches, garlic chicken sautee w/peppers and brown rice, so-mein(a cold ramen bowl ) or any combo of the above.

Cool and damp here and we have spent the day at the football field and hockey arena so I have chili in the crockpot. We are having it with tossed salad and garlic toast. Butter tarts for dessert.

We had our annual baptism and bbq today at church. My DH and about 12 other people were baptized today. So awesome!! I'm exhausted from the busy morning so we are just going to make homemade pizza for dinner. I'll have the boys make them and just supervise
