Dh and I got talked into one. Dh plays great. I SUCK beyond suck. Lol ..but they needed another female and all skill levels balance it out...so.... I just hate we have to play a week night...can be real late and it's 35 mins away...that's the yuck part. But it does get us out of the house with friends for a bit. Anyone else play?

I played when I was young from age 15. I started playing tournaments at 17, started hustling for money at 18 to pay for my college books. I was very good and had not lost a tournament until I meet my now DH at one. I was completely distracted by him, was currently in 3rd place with no losses of a double elimination. DH came up and asked me out....I lost the next two games. Lol
He's pretty good too, but I can still take him. Date night is usually dusting off my cue and playing a few games. I'd sure love to get our own table.
All that to say, I was invited to join a league in the town I work in, an hour from home. I'd truly love to do it, but right now my boys keep me too busy with football and baseball and band.
I say join and enjoy it. Just because your not that great doesn't mean you won't learn and become better with each game.

My husband, brother-in-law and one nephew are all on league teams. It can be a pretty late night.
My husband's team made it to Vegas a year or two ago. It was a great experience for them.
Have fun!
