In NC cannot make calls...Few people seem to have same issue. Anyone else?

I don't have Verizon, but I'm in Cary (near Raleigh) and there's a thread about Verizon on a local Facebook group. So far it looks like more than 30 people have chimed in to say they are having trouble. I hope they get it worked out soon!
