Has anyone signed up for Cathy Zielske's 30 Days of Thankful class? I'm wondering if there are things in the class material that help you with the journaling, etc, or if the instruction is just about using the digital files.

Did you see the class description? www.czclasses.com/product/30-days-of-thankful/It looks to be heavy on the technical aspects of customizing the color of the cards and working with photos. I've not taken this class but have taken other CZ classes. I've not found her classes to have the in-depth journaling prompts or storytelling focus like Ali.

I watched her periscope video and it didn't sound like there were journaling prompts. It looked like it was mostly digital content. I hope someone that has actually signed up for it and has seen the content will correct me if I am wrong. I would love to sign up if there were journaling prompts but if not I would rather use my stash and have a bit more color in my album that and I need to put a dent in my stash not ink .

I asked Cathy about it on her blog. She said one of the videos goes through her album and she describes what she chose to journal about and why. So, she gives ideas but no real "instruction" or prompts. I love Cathy Z, but her style has gone way to minimalistic for my taste. Like you, I'd rather work through my paper stash than my ink supply.

I agree. I joined the 30 Days FB group last year, and did my first small album. Loved it, went on to DD and I'm assembling my supplies for another this year. But the focus of Cathy's class is on digital, of which I know nothing. For me, it's all about the paper and supplies and putting it together by hand rather than on the computer. I have seen a lot of gorgeous digital scrapping, it's just not for me.

I love the idea I really do. Glad to know that she doesn't have prompts. I really don't need another class. If you watched her video she had these cute little printouts to help you. It had a place to write down what you were thankful for each day and a place to sketch I think. I am trying to decide if I am going to attempt it or not. I am really trying to use up stash. I keep thinking it would be fun and put my cricut to good use. I know I would want to cut a ton of leaves
