I've just recently discovered the app Periscope and hoping to find some crafty people to follow. I've found most manufacturers as users and have seen Silhouette and My Minds Eye do broadcasts so far. So if you Periscope, what's your user name?

I feel so technologically behind right now - I don't even know what Periscope is!

I had it for a couple of months and just deleted it. It was too hard and time consuming to find/ add new people to follow, and I kept getting chirped for what ended up being essentially commercials / marketing opportunities, more so than anything informative or entertaining.

I'm not a fan a periscope. I prefer Ustream or vimeo or youtube. I like having the ability to watch when I want to watch. And with ustream you can get a notification when the person is scheduled next. I don't like the randomness of periscope. It chirps and I'm suppose to drop everything, unfortunately, my life doesn't work that way.

It seems it's not as popular as I thought it might be! I agree that it is inconvenient to catch live broadcasts but I thought it was pretty neat to be able to ask questions during the broadcast. It might be helpful if the app made videos available longer than 24 hours.

I love it my up line uses it and I am on a challenge that uses it for daily videos. I love it as you can communicate with the person scoping if live. I don't know if any scrapping ones though that post regularly.

I think the app is definitely growing on me. If I happen to catch a broadcast I will, if not- no big deal. I was able to catch Silhouette doing a live tutorial today about using their tattoo paper to make a wooden sign. I had two questions which were answered right away. Very helpful!

I used it for the first time tonight and watched Jen Schow and Tracie Claiborne show their mini albums of their road trip together. Not sure if I have the hang of it though. Can you watch something later that you didn't catch live?

Can you watch something later that you didn't catch live? The broadcaster can choose to leave the video up for 24 hours. Someone above also mentioned they watch later via some other site, Katch I think it was?

I've downloaded the app - I think I'm going to give it a whirl. There seem to be a few people on here enjoying it!

When you broadcast, you have the option to automatically save the video to your camera roll so you can upload it later to something like YouTube or FB but in my experience, the video quality is super low so you really wouldn't want to. I think of Periscope as just the opportunity to check in with some of my favorite people. I only follow my faves and when the tweet goes off, I watch if I have time and if I don't, I might catch it later but it's just there if I want to check it out. I don't worry if I miss one. I miss a bunch by everyone I follow. I have new followers following me daily but I am not sure how best to use it for my own following. I want to do more but since it's live, it is very nerve wracking! LOL!

Then I could watch them when I have a free minute. 9/10 times, I am busy when I get the notification.
