We have a fox family who lives in our neighborhood. When 2yo dd first started talking she always referred to them as gallfay, instead of fox. I have no idea where she got it or why, but that is just what she has always called them. It's so weird!! Anyway, we were at Joanns's Fabrics one day and she saw this fabric and started screaming gallfay, gallfay. And was so excited! So I had to buy it! I figured I would make her this cute little jacket out of it.
It's a pattern from an old Ottobre Design pattern magazine and I have made it before for my nephew. It's a gagillion pieces and lots of steps. Pockets, snaps, Velcro, a zipper and fully lined! Whew! I only make them for kids that I really really love!!
