I currently have 4 teenagers in my living room dusting for our party later who just took a spontaneous break to put on a full performance of Thriller. So funny, dusting rags, swiffers and all. It almost cancels out the fact that I wanted to choke them out yesterday

What fun!
My 16 yr. old daughter is mostly friends with boys and they are over a lot. They are so polite and funny. I love when she has her friends over!

My 17 year old ran by here for about an hour with his friend while they were waiting to meet a group of their friends. I was treated to a hysterical version of 'The Time Warp' (Rocky Horror) because apparently they needed to practice before they and their friends go to a special Halloween showing of the movie.
I was laughing so hard I almost peed. What is even funnier is that I have the soundtrack of the movie on my ipod and this same boy would run screaming to the player to change every single Rocky Horror song that came on because he said it was the worst music that was ever written. So watching him 'take a jump to left' was just about the funniest thing I have seen in a while.

Love it. I was so scared of having a teenager but it's been great. The teens I know are generally good people and no more irritating than other people in other stages of their lives.

They are funny creatures! I took two of my grandsons to get their hair trimmed yesterday. They love going to my stylist because she's really cute, I've had her for 25 years so we're friends and their mother goes to her too. She's almost like family and they're very relaxed around her. Plus they like the extra attention she gives their hair. I loved watching them "flirt" with her and the other two stylists I have to wonder if this is how they flirt with girls. If it is then it's no wonder they've had girlfriends since first grade. I almost lost it when the oldest was done, got up, looked in the big mirror and declared for everyone in the shop to hear, "I look good!"

I'm a high school teacher and I wouldn't want to teach another age group. I adore these kids. Teenagers are amazing, I see it every day!!

They love to tell people how lucky they are to get to look at their astounding good looks

Mine only has 7 more months of being a teen. I am taking him to Harry Potter World in January before that happens. I love that he is "a grown ass man" (his words), but when I suggested getting a HP wand, he lost it. I always appreciated my kids being older than younger. Toddlers are for the insane!

They can break your heart, but yes, they are a ton of fun too. I enjoy it when my kids have friends over. It's fun to see them having a good time and they can be pretty funny too. My girl and her friends watch movies the way they are meant to be watched (at home): quoting the best lines and cracking jokes the whole time.

I think teenagers get a bad rap by many. The ones I know are nice, polite and crazy fun. Of course they're PITA a bunch, too, but for the most part I think they're great. Just like the news, we tend to hear more of the bad when in actuality there is more of the good. I enjoy the heck out of them. Until I don't.

Love it. I was so scared of having a teenager but it's been great. The teens I know are generally good people and no more irritating than other people in other stages of their lives. I agree! I have two teens and one preteen and they keep me busy with all their activities and they are messy pigs (you should see our house) but are great kids.
It seems that girls always get a bad rap, but I have three girls and they are not moody nor do they slam doors, stomp off or talk back to us. They are so laid back and easy! I carpool 5 girls in my daughters dance class, and all the girls are always having fun and laughing and so laid back. I admit that the car really smells like feet after having a car full of girls, but I prefer stink than moody attitudes any day!

Home After 8 days with my crew while their parents were on vacation. The almost 18 yo told his parents how the weekend went with granny: "We took care of her and she made us deserts."
Pretty close to the truth. It was a fun week and I am so proud of how grown up and responsible they are.

Despite my issues with my current job, overall I really like the teen/tween age group.
