I colored this picture of her Zodiac Sign (Sagitarius). I'm so pleased with how it came out and I'm dying to show it to people. Normally, I'd upload it to Facebook but I don't want her or my mom or sister to see it since they are each getting one with their Zodiac Sign. So here it is.  |

I fully admit, that for the most part, I copied the artist's color scheme when I colored it. It just seemed so perfect.

My mom is a Virgo and my sister is a Pisces. So theirs will be different. I don't think I'll copy the colors on those.

Whoa. I would never have guessed you used markers. I didn't know you could get the shading and blending with markers! Well, I mean, I guess I've heard that, but I didn't realize the reality. Now I'm even more impressed. |

I'm a Pisces Sun myself so I vibe with blues and blue-greens. Since Pisces is a watery sign. But my Mercury is also in Pisces and the most Piscinean planet Neptune is right by my ascendant, so these will magnify my Pisces influence. I don't know much about Virgo personally since I have none of my planets in that sign, but I do know it's an earth sign, mutable quality and it's special colors are navy blue and grey for classic colors of refinement and taste. I love this idea for a gift! |

Beautifully colored, I'm very impressed! Do you use a blending marker over the layers, to get that effect? Or do the markers sort of blend themselves? I don't have any copic markers, maybe I need some!
