Updated!
First of all, I'm so sorry I'm just now drawing for our winner! I've had a heck of a time getting (and staying) logged in to the board. I think pro-boards has finally fixed whatever my issue was, though! yay!
Anyway, thank you so much for playing along I hope you'll continue to play around with your copy cat kit! Tag me in any layouts you make with it, because I'd really love to see.
SO without further ado, let's draw for our prize winner of the goodies from Tuesday Morning!
She is…
maryannscraps!!! WOOHOO!!! Congrats, MaryAnn!!! PM me your mailing address and I'll get your prize out to you today or tomorrow

Hey, Refupeas!!!
I'm so excited to be hosting a challenge during our first crop (hopefully of many)!
My challenge has 2 ways for you to participate, so be sure to read the details!
Copycat Collection Challenge:
For this challenge, I would like for you to find a manufacturer's collection that you LOVE, but don't have. I'd then like for you to shop your stash and create your own Copycat Collection. You can be inspired by the colors, the theme, a certain type of pattern it uses, whatever! Pull papers, stickers, stamps, cardstock, etc. I'm not going to throw rules out here of what your kit should have in it, but I do want to see a nice selection and variety of goodies. Pick things you would actually use!
Then I want you to post a photo of your manufacturer's collection AND a photo of your copycat collection. I'd love to see you post these to this thread, but also you MUST put them in the Flikr gallery, noting my challenge in your title. Doing this gets you ONE entry into my prize drawing. YAY!
Use Your CopyCat Collection for More Entries:
If you'd like to earn even more entries for my prize drawing, USE your new collection to create a layout (pocket page or traditional), altered item, mini book or card set (at least 2 cards). The more things you create with your collection, the more entries you will receive! Each project counts for another entry! Again, please post your entries here on the thread AND in the gallery noting my challenge in the title.
Sound fun?
Here's my example. I saw sneak peeks of Heidi Swapp's "Oh What Fun" Christmas collection and I loved it! But I have a lot of the types of patterns that are in her paper collection, so I decided I didn't really "need" it. And I wanted to trade the black she used for a dark navy, to go with a set of photos I was having trouble scrapping with Christmas papers.
Here's a bit of the "Oh What Fun" collection:
And here's my copycat! Mine ended up creamy instead of white-based, but I really like it. I pulled the plaid first, and went from there. The plaid and navy dots are from Basic Grey Junebug (2009 - don't judge ). Paper doesn't need to be in full sheets! A lot of these are partials, they just look full bc of how I spread them out in my photo
I then threw in some gold goodies, as Heidi loves her gold! And a few other things I thought might be fun to use, like a few stickers from Simple Stories, a tag, some leftover enamel pieces, adhesive ribbon, etc.
As you can see, I didn't stick entirely to my kit as I created. I added in cardstock, other embellishments, etc. That's fine to do, too!
This is the page that I wanted some navy-based paper for the photos. It's based on a sketch by Scrapbook Generation:
I then created this page, using a sketch from PageMaps:
And then I got kind of tired of the lime green in the papers, so I switched it up and made this page with some scraps:
And finally this card with the really little scraps
Fun, right?! You DO NOT have to create as much as I did, unless you really want to use your kit. Really I will be happy if you just create your copycat collection.
And now for the PRIZE!!! (Because I'm providing a prize for this challenge your name won't also go into the drawing for the main crop prize).
Most of you probably know I'm a Tuesday Morning store shopper. I usually start a monthly thread so I can see what's out there and we can enable… I mean help… one another find treasures.
So for this prize pack, you will get these goodies I purchased just for this crop. These are things I've heard y'all ooooo and ahhhh over on the TM threads, so here's your chance to get them! Plus a Teresa Collins sticker book that I thought went nicely with them
Have fun! And please let me know if you have any questions.
CHALLENGE RULES:
