I am about to upgrade and I am stuck between two phones...LGV10 and the Galaxy S6 edge+. The only difference I found when comparing the two was LG V10 lasts 18 hours, 2 forward "selfie" lens, and has Expandable Memory. The S6 edge+ lasts 25 hours, it only has one selfie lens but it is a good one, no expandable memory, it is a smaller phone than I am used to but not by much. Also if I upgrade to this phone(S6 edge+) I get a $250.00 GC to Best buy which would help with Christmas.
So Peas give the good, the bad, and the ugly...

I'd go with the LGV10, I hate that more and more phone manufacturers are phasing out expandable memory. I have a Samsung Note 4 and won't be going with the Note 5 due to no expandable storage.

DD has the S6, the Edge costs $100 more for no real added benefit other than a cooler looking edge. She loves it.
I do agree that phasing out the expandable memory is a bad move. I have the S5 and won't upgrade until this one dies.

I'd go with the Samsung quality over LG any day. Everyone in my family has a Samsung Galaxy of some sort, just depends on when each line is eligible for upgrades as to who has which model. We've never had any issues with them. I don't think I'd go to the Edge over the S6 just b/c I'd put a case on it, which would probably defeat the selling points of the Edge. I have the S4, and it has a card slot, which I really like. I haven't come across anything I've wanted to do with it that I couldn't.

I was torn between the S6 and the S6 Edge. The guy at Sprint told me that all of the good phone cases covered up the edge, so it wasn't worth the extra money to me to buy one. I don't know anything about the LG, but I really like my S6.

My 2 requirements for a phone are expandable storage and removable battery. Unfortunately samsung did away with both of those so once my s4 dies (hopefully not for a long time!) I will be seeking out another brand. I haven't used the LG V10, but I would likely choose it over the samsung at this time. I really hope samsung rethinks their decision.

I've loved both my Samsung Galaxy phones. S3 and now S4.
The Edge looks cool. But, honestly, I see that edge as a con too. Seems it would be way to easy to crack the screen on that vulnerable edge.
I had no idea about the expandable memory. Maybe I should upgrade to the 5. It's time. But, I haven't been in any hurry as I've been happy with my S4.

I love my s6 which I recently upgraded to from and iPhone. I wasn't paying extra for the edge which I would just be covering up with a case.

Well I resisted the new phone. I am going to wait it out until may when I my renewal is up. What really made me wait was the added storage and the screen on the L10 has the larger screen. I am just so impatient, I want a new phone now Thanks for the help Peas!! Andrea

I love the Galaxy phones. What would have sold me is the 250 gift card...

I just got the Costco thanksgiving sales flyer and they have a $250 Gift Card if you buy the Note5, S6edge or S6. Good 11/20-30 in warehouse only. Limit 5. You also get the exclusive accessory kit (not sure what that includes but we have been very happy in the past).

That's easy, LG V10! I have the LG G4 and as I have stated before, these phones do not get the attention they deserve. These are great phones and just as good if not better than the popular ones at a cheaper price. I'm going to get the V10 once my carrier gets them in.
