I tend to wear the cheapies, because I misplace them. I wonder if they're like good sunglasses-- I'd take better care if I'd spend more.
I usually get the $2-3 stretchy ones at Target. My hands are small, and they work for me. I don't have a lot of exposure to the outsize elements, though.

I don't spend a lot of money on gloves, but I need the smallest adult ones I can find, because my fingers are short, so most gloves don't fit. The tips are too long, and it's annoying.

It seems like I am constantly losing gloves, so I tend to buy cheap ones. My absolute favorite gloves are the fleece ones from Old Navy. Those seem to keep my hands warm and they only cost a few bucks.

I have nice gloves and love them but usually only wear them when I wear a nicer coat. I also buy several pair of the cheap ones to keep in the pockets of every coat and jacket. That way I am not searching everytime I want to go out and am wearing a different coat. I do have really warm gloves and mittens when it get really cold but those I usually just keep in the car so they are always available when needed. I keep an extra hat/headband also in the car just in case I forget and need it. In Chicago you never know when you are going to need really warm gear and I always make sure I have an emergency set around.

I have resorted to wearing finger-less gloves. I'm tall, so I have long fingers. It is impossible to find women's gloves that fit, and I'm too vain to wear men's.

I have a nice pair of leather gloves that I wear when I'm dressed up but the rest of the time I wear a pair of Lands End fleece gloves that probably cost about $15

I only wear leather ones so I'm really vigilant about keeping them safe.

I wear child sized ones, as my hands are small. Fat, but small.

Cheapos. I think spending a lot on gloves is a waste of money... might as well burn the money to keep your hands warm if you're going to buy expensive gloves.

I watch for nice-ish gloves to go on sale at Kohls or Macys during the fall. Usually you can get a pair of Isotoners for about $10-15 with a sale and a coupon. I really like a pair of super warm well-made gloves because the cold affects my hands very badly. The cheap knit gloves are not insulating enough for me. I wear gloves when it gets below about 40 and I have to be at the bus stop or on the playground. A good pair of gloves is a necessity for me - not enough to go way overboard but enough that I'll spend $15-20 instead of $2.
My kid doesn't care so I buy her the cheap knit gloves.

Cheapos. When I buy the nice winter gloves the damn kids take them and lose them! KikiPea, I have the opposite problem. I have long, witchy fingers. I need them long enough so they cover my wrist. A problem I have with the cheapo gloves. ETA: and with this post I am farewell to the bucket!

I wear nice leather with an extra set of liners when it's really cold. My current pair of gloves is over 12 years old. I don't know how, but I don't lose them (hope I didn't jinx it)

I have the same problem, so I knit my own. Oh boy, I never thought this could be a issue since I have the opposite problem. My hands are broad with long fingers. I never ever have found women's gloves that fit. I end up searching the men's sections for something that is not bulky and looks somewhat feminine. I typically wear a L or XL in mens!

I always have to try on gloves; I have big hands and many Women's gloves don't fit because they are too tight or too short in the fingers. I do buy nice gloves, usually leather, when I can find them and have a pair in every coat I wear in the winter. The cheap stretchy knit ones don't keep my hands warm enough. Plus, I usually keep a super warm heavier pair in the car.
I'm pretty good at not losing them. I had a great pair of green suede ones from Nordstrom that I wore for years and years.

I mainly buy the cheap ones and have them in every coat. Living in ND I have a couple of winter coats that I wear throughout the season since our winters last so long, etc.

Nice. Every year Fred Meyer (like Target) has half off all their gloves and socks. So I always buy socks for the year and if I need them nice gloves

I would love to wear an expensive, nice set of gloves. But I usually end up using the cheap-o ones because I will lose them. And I won't be too sad when they are lost. And my kids just grab 2 gloves, matching or not. So I keep a basket of knit, inexpensive ones.

I keep a pair of gloves in each of my winter coats, so I always have gloves with me. They go in the pockets when not being worn. I tend to buy a nicer pair of gloves, and they last through several seasons. I have some cheapies that I can keep in the car for "just in case" times.
My running gloves cost a lot of $ - more than I've ever spent on gloves, and they were worth.every.penny. They actually have a little longer finger length than I need, but they really keep my hands warm during a cold run!

Today it -4 outside and you would think that I would be wearing gloves. Nope, can't stand them. Every time I wear gloves my fingers get so cold. Then I tried mittens so my fingers could stay together but, you can't do a darn thing when you are wearing mittens so I just go without!

I tend to wear expensive gloves. It's cold here from Oct/Nov until April. I have different kinds of gloves though. I have a thinner pair of fleece North Face gloves that are decent if you're only going to be going to the car to store back to car. But then I have a much nicer pair of Columbia ones that have the super nice heat shield stuff that works when you're going to be outside snowblowing/shoveling, etc. I have had both pairs for several years and haven't lost one yet.

I only wear gloves during my daily walks in the winter so I go for function over looks. My favorite pair are thinsulate-lined fleece with a Velcro flap and thumb hole that I got at Wal-Mart in the men's department for $7. I've searched everywhere for more like this and would literally pay just about anything for another pair because they are both warm and functional. I live in fear that I will lose one.

In the past I usually got gloves for Christmas so I would say I wear nice ones. I had several pairs, however, someone has borrowed mine and now they seem to be missing. I am hoping to find them in a coat pocket or something like that. I always had leather gloves that had to have fabric interior as I am allergic to any animal knitted product be it angora, mohair, wool, lambswool or other. My fingers are itching just thinking about it. LOL

Cheap. The stretchy, one size are what I usually buy. I buy a couple in dark gray and a couple pair in black.

I usually buy some that are about $15. I need something very warm and comfy but don't want to break the bank since they seem to get lost easily.
