fashion? There are 4 or 5 stands, one connected to the other. They are all doing their own thing and it looks pretty chaotic! Any way to remedy this?
TIA!

Get one really super long string? Or do what we do, and turn the blinking off.

Thinking I'll have to figure out how to turn the blinking off.... there are some homes that have beautiful, uniform, blinking, twinkling lights..... I'm sure they are more expensive.... Told my hubby that next year I will be investing in some better, more beautiful lights. I really do love Christmas lights.

I'm thinking the ones blinking in unison for the entire strand have one "blinker" that activates the entire strand. I'm not a Christmas lights expert, but that's the most logical answer. I'm sure there is probably a forum for Christmas lights just like this one...

The old traditional sets we have, the first bulb closest to the plug on the string is where the blinking bulb is located. Usually it is a clear bulb that has a red spot on it so you can tell that's the one you need to swap out with a plain solid colored bulb to make the string not blink. I'm not sure if that is still true with the newer LED type strings or not though.
One thing you could try would be to plug them all together before plugging them into the wall? Maybe they are all blinking out of sync because you plugged the first one into the wall, then plugged the second one into the first one, etc. so they would all be starting their blinking at different times? Just a thought.

My favorite are the houses that have a zillion lights that are all timed to go with Christmas music on a soundtrack! That's dedication. We have a church near us that has a holiday light show like that and it's really pretty fabulous. DD is already lamenting that some of the neighbors have their outside lights up and turned on, and we don't even have ours on the house yet.

I LOVE the fact that there's an actual thread about how to wear blinking lights. Thanks, Trollie!!
