Yolanda and David Foster are divorcing. They seemed like they really loved each other. I follow her on Instagram. Her health doesn't appear to be improving much. Divorce

I'm surprised.
HOWEVER, most men are not long-term care givers. It's not in their DNA. HOWEVER, my husband is not one of those "men."
ETA: my husband has been right by my side since my back surgery in the early nineties. I'm darn lucky! Always telling me to stop doing the things that hurt me. He's a keeper!

Sad...especially if it's because of her health.

Not surprised in the least! The guy has been married like 3 times already!

I'm always skeptical of couples who are overly affectionate in public and constantly talk about how much they love each other.

Honestly, I never felt like he seemed that into her. She always seemed the "instigator" of the affection, to me, and he would sort of go along with it.

I'm always skeptical of couples who are overly affectionate in public and constantly talk about how much they love each other. this was my thought. They were just too over the top in their constant declarations of their great love and perfect marriage. I didn't realize it was only four years that they have been together.

He always seemed like a fake phony name dropper to me. I know he's famous in his own right, so I didn't get why he had to constantly mention all the famous people he knows and has worked with.
Please...tell us about Babyface one more time, lol. That might have impressed me in the 90s.
Eh, good riddance.

I'm kinda aurprised but not surprised. Like othersvhave said, I'm always suspicious of people who have to publically declare their love so much, I'm like, who are you trying to convince, me or you? I do like Yolanda a lot, I hope she's ok, but I suspect she will be.

I'm not super surprised. I know many factors play into a couple's decision to split, but I figured David Foster might not be down with being a caregiver to a sickly wife. He strikes me as someone who likes a pretty ornament to take care of his pretty home while he works.

I am surprised. I hope she lands on both feet.
Now that I think about it, maybe when they sold their Malibu home it was a hint that there was trouble in paradise.

Despite him being a less than stellar husband -if that's the case, he has an amazing, amazing career. He has contributed so much to the music of our lives, and I wouldn't have known that if he wasn't on the show and talking about it. I don't see it as gratuitous name dropping at all.

Be a caregiver? He could pay to have her taken care of for the rest of her life about 100xs. He's a multi millionaire. Probably billionaire. I always thought she overly fawned over him. He doesn't need her. She needs him way more then he does I would think. Remember, she's had a few husbands too. The whole lymes, and all the various treatments leaves me confused. She's trying all these treatments, and nothing seems to work? usually it will respond to something. I was surprised they were only married 4 yrs too!!

I always thought she was more of the name dropper.
Remember the episode at the beginning of the season a year or two ago... they were having a romantic dinner just the two of them.
They ate no food. It was the weirdest most staged episode ever. It thought They might be splitting then.

God, I will never forget that refrigerator at their house - does anyone remember that thing? It was like a glass display case with these still life arrangements of fruit and vegetables.
Anyway, that same episode, she was admonishing someone not to talk while he played or sang or whatever it is he does - plays the banjo or kazoo, whatever, I can't remember - and it seemed like she was big on demanding that people respect him, which made him seem a silly.
Her, I liked. I hope she's okay. And that wherever she lands, there's an incredible, state of the art refrigerator.

She posted on Instagram fairly recently that she was having her 20 year breast implants removed as a test showed it was leaking. That could be the cause of her mysterious illness.

A season or two ago, Yolanda was talking to the other housewives about keeping themselves sexy so that their husbands won't leave and I was disgusted that people are that shallow. Many men do make good caretakers, but you have to find a good man. She did not. She was only wife #4. There's a lot more sexy, shallow women that he can marry for short periods of time. She should find a man w/substance who makes his marriage a priority. It's reality tv and takes place Beverly Hills. Nothing surprises me there.

I'm pretty sure Yolanda was only married once before David. She was married to her kids father who alegedly cheated on her with another housewife who alegedly has a smelly twat.

Well, I just watched the first episode of RHOBH, and it looks like she has been living in their condo by herself in the city for a while. She said it was because her Malibu house is too big and that this place was closer to her doctor. I feel so bad for her. She does not look good at all.

David is so smug. Is it true he told GiGi 'I didn't sign up for this'?
He wanted her travelling with him to events, socializing, dinner parties, making him look good. All of her social media posts about keeping romance alive 'my love' have been replaced with pics of IV's and hospital visits.
I always like Yolanda...she's kooky but David's just a tool. He may be rich but he's still a tool.

I wonder if her mysterious symptoms will get better now that he's gone. I feel part of her was staying ill as her way to keep him- because, you know, who would leave their ill spouse?

This isn't David's first reality show. I recall him being in a show with a previous wife. Not a housewife show but something similar. I can't remember the name. He is very famous in the music industry and incredibly talented. He also comes across as arrogant and a jerk. I wish her well. She has seemed more into the relationship than he is. She deserves a man who will stick with her sick or not.
