Any favorites? I work out 3 days a week for one hour doing a mixture of cardio/weights with my P31 class. Looking to add some DVDs to do on my off days. I have Power 90 that I really like. I'm just 6 weeks in to working out, so nothing too complex. Any suggestions?

I have started using the Daily Burn that you stream. It is only $10.00 a month and you can do so many different workouts. I highly recommend it.

In theory i love Zumba workout DVDs and own 3 boxes of them. Only tried one of them once and was tired after that!

Cathe videos are awesome...she is mostly intermediate to advanced but she has a huge variety on her website, Cathe.com and I think Collage Video carries some of hers as well.

She comes across as intimidating, but her DVDs are nothing like the Biggest Loser show. I used to think that too. I find her motivating when I am about to quit - its like she knows lol

I also like the 30 day shred, it's a very quick workout, something like 22 minutes, so good to fit in when you don't have a lot of time.
I like The Firm workouts, 500 calorie workout I think is the one I really like. There's also one that's a cardio collection of 3 different workouts, I like 2 of the 3 of those.
Does your library carry workout DVDs? I love to try them there before I buy them so I can see if I like it. I tried a P90X one, I think it was some sort of kicked up one even, and couldn't even do any of the moves, so back that went!

I will look when I take the boys this week.

Another vote for The Firm DVD workouts. In most cases, I find them to be a good mix of cardio and toning within one workout. Some of them may require you to use their "fanny lifter" or their step risers. It usually states on the back of the package if you need any additional equipment.
Thanks for suggesting the Daily Burn. I'm going to have to check that out.

My new favorite is Chalean Extreme. I love it more than The Firm, Jillian Michael's, etc. Truly awesome stuff!

I also like the FitnessBlender youtube channel. Lots of different styles of videos there and they're free.

I agree with Daily Burn. Tomorrow I'm going to try the African Dance. I also use Fitness Blender and they are free. I have lower back issues and when it starts acting up I do one of the lower back videos I have saved.
