This challenge is for those who scrap slowly and need encouragement to keep scrapping all month or those who want a little encouragement to continue scrapping. It is great for those new to Challenges and is a fun place to come chat with other Pokey scrappers. 1. Post a layout each week, or four layouts per month. These can be posted in the thread or in the gallery. If you post in the gallery, be sure to come to the thread and tell us you posted and tell us the name of the layout so we can find it. You can copy the URL from the gallery and paste it directly into your thread for a link. 2. This challenge can be combined with any other challenges and can be paper, digital or hybrid scrapping. These can be cards, layouts or altered items. 3. Please comment on the work of others on the thread as your time allows. We all love comments on our layouts. 4. Have fun with this! This should be a "no pressure" challenge. Just post what you finish whether it is one layout or more than four. Come chat with the group as time permits. We love to welcome new members . There are no prizes for this challenge, just a chance to enjoy the works of other Pokey Peas Refugees. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Hi there, friends. I was doing much better by yesterday afternoon, but woke up with same symptoms today. Maybe I overdid it yesterday. I went to school and was so glad to see my little students. Then took Steve in for his eye surgery and he got a text saying DS was in surgery for his kidney stones. They were able to break them up, but he's home and miserable. Steve's still waiting for his to pass. When it rains, it pours at our house! Cindy, I wanted to let you and Kelly both know how beautiful I think your wreaths are. I wish I could transport you to my house to help me make one. I did a July 4th that I like, but I wasn't pleased with my Fall one. I don't think I'll attempt a Christmas one. Maribeth, it's so great to see you popping in. Please drop by anytime and be sure to share your scrappy projects. Jana, knutschen , I forgot to wish you well on your eye surgery. Won't that be a blessing to be free of contacts and glasses. You'll be in my prayers for a January surgery. maryannscraps , the wedding sounds just wonderful. Sounds like your kids were the hit of the dance floor. I wanted to tell you how much I have loved my 2 visits to New Orleans. Both times I felt like I'd been transported to another country. Of course we were right in the heart of Bourban Street, etc. and didn't have a car so we just walked and took in the sights. We went for conventions each time. Bonnie, sbartist , it's good to see you! I caught some layouts of yours on scrapbook.com, but haven't really been able to get over there to look. Where in Hawaii are you? I need to quit. I'll try to be a little more "present" this month. This feeling yucky is getting OOOOOOLLLLD!

Happy December!
I will be doing my Christmas cards on Sunday (I have been decorating the house since Thanksgiving Day) and still have a few finishing touches to do on Saturday, so Sunday will be devoted to cards. I will post my completed cards to fulfill the monthly challenge.
As those of you who remember me from the old 2Peas Board, I do a lot of what I call series scrapbooking or projects. So the projects you might recall are the County Courthouse, and National Register of Historic Places. I have since added Post Offices. Also my granddaughter and I are trying to go to every McDonalds in the Albuquerque metro area (see loves McDonalds, thankfully her parents don't really let her eat there that frequently, the prefer to feed her a bit more healthy foods), so it is a treat and a fun scrapbooking memory she will have when she is old and grey and has her own grandchildren. I also am doing a project that includes historical events and those wacky "national day of....." Yesterday was National Mutt day, so I photographed my lovable mutt Bandit, and I will make a page for him (After the frist of the year - scrapbooking supplies are put away until after Christmas due to my extensive decorating).
I have a lot of scrapping to do in 2016 - And I AM going to get it DONE!!!!!
Happy scrapping everyone.

Happy Holiday Season! to everyone. Mary Ann, sounds like the wedding was blast. I think it's terrific that your kids can dance so well. My family all likes to dance, but I wouldn't say we do it well. lol. Nylene, I hope you're feeling better soon. Maribeth, I really like your project or series style idea of scrapbooking. And you have so many of them, so you always have something to work on which is great. My life: The contractor started the process of getting the basement supports ready. Tomorrow he'll be back to rip out the rest of the upstairs outside walls. I'll probably work some on that tonight to save some $$. Since our job is in an old house, we're doing material and labor costs. There wasn't an set in stone quote. So hubs and I are doing what we can to keep the cost down. I'm already sore and tired. I'm up at 6:30 as to be ready before the workers arrive, but DD who has health issues has been having a particularly nasty time with her stomach all this week which means sleep doesn't happen until after 12. Last night it was 1:30. I have bags under my eyes. But she might be just a tad better today. Her next doctor appt. is the 15th and it can't get here soon enough for me. This year my hubs started his own consulting business. Pre-this Christmas gifts and cards for business associates were purchased without my knowledge and/or care charged to the company he worked for and sent out through a staff member. I realized just this week that I should probably make some cards for him to send. He stated on Tuesday evening how he was seeing an associate on Wednesday for dinner and that he was buying him a bottle of our area whiskey and that he was sending another bottle with him to another associate he wouldn't see before the holiday. So first thing Wednesday morning, I made these with a Lori Whitlock cut file to tie to the bottles. Bottle-Tags by Lisa Davolt, on Flickr So I guess I'll be checking the cut files for quick and easy Christmas Cards. Can I send Christmas cards? Do they need to be Holiday cards? Sorry to write a book.

LisaDV, I saw that cute cut file on Lori's blog. I think you did a great job with those. It sounds like you really have your hands full right now. Hope your DD feels better soon and that the renovating goes as smoothly as possible. I send Christmas cards. I know there are many who celebrate Hanukkah or Kwanza or other holidays this season also, but I still send Christmas Cards. I think most of the people I send to are family members or close friends, so I'm hoping I don't offend anyone. maribeth, I love your series scrapping too. I need to get photos for you of an old historic Tabernacle in our area built in the 1850's. It caught fire at this time of year in 2010 and burned to the ground, leaving only the brick shell and the towers that fell through the roof but didn't burn. It is owned by the LDS church and it took a while to decide what they would do with it. It has been totally rebuilt, with parking levels dug underneath and will be dedicated as a new Temple after the first of the year. It's a magnificent looking building. It was listed for many years on the Historic Register. I'm off to try to get something done around here without overdoing.

Happy Thursday everyone! Waving hi to you all. Thanks for all the praise about my wreaths. I loved making them and can't wait to finish these other two. These are larger and using the wire "work" wreath that has the chenille wires already attached. So they will look similar to the one Cindy made. They are so big and full it reminds me of cotton candy. LOL! I want to have them done so this weekend we can deliver them to the moms. I know they will be so excited to see all this holiday cheer for their doors. Maryann- That wedding sounds it was really terrific! Maybe you have the next Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire. Nylene- Oh I hope Santa brings you and your family some extra cheer and joy this holiday season. Keep pacing yourself and hope you and your dh get some relief and rest. Lisa- Those wine bottle tags are so pretty and well done. Oh and your house sounds like lots of hard work. I hope you can share a few pics of the process. I know it will be so great when you all finish. Hang in there!

Good evening all! sounds like everyone is crafting away for the holidays! I finally got my tree decorated! I bought a new one and it took me forever to get it done. I also put the greens on the front porch railings only added a string of white lights to them and have a spotlight on the wreath on the door. Will have to get some photos and post them. We attended Maggie's Christmas concert at school last evening-she was in a solo ensemble and did a beautiful job. I took video for only the second time and I did a pretty decent job.
Nylene I am so glad to see you doing a little better. I will be wishing you and yours good health for next year! I waited to purchase that die set also but I made a birthday c=version for it too. It is cute and versatile!
Kelly-we want to see photos of those wreaths before they go to the moms!
Lisa sounds like a major project going on at your house! Good luck with it I would not be good at handling it at this time of year. Hope your DD is feeling better soon!
Maribeth I too am a fan of your different collections. I am so glad to see you back on the thread so I can see when you post them. I don't get on here everyday but close to it and if I do miss a day it will be here!
Ok I have written a book-will be back later!

Good Morning Pokey's - Happy Friday Any scrappy plans today? sadly not for me, not until my decorating is DONE - which I am really hoping will be by Saturday evening. Quote for the day: “How we spend our days is how we spend our lives. What we do with this hour and with that one, is what we are doing.” ~Annie DillardSo ladies - let us all spend each hour today living our life! Make it a great day everyone.

maribeth, love the quote! Happy Friday to everyone! They start the wall demolition upstairs today. And I have a Boston Butt Pork in the oven to make pulled pork for the workers for lunch. They're usually is just 2 guys here, but today I expect at least 3. I've offered lunch to them each day. I'm kind of enjoying having others to cook for. Since moving to this "dump" I haven't allowed anyone to visit so I don't get to cook or entertain. I think hubs is secretly laughing at me but at least shows me support and solidarity to my face. ha. Sadly, no scrappy plans for me today. My craft desk is covered with the kids school books and some work tools. But there are few days when it's actually planned. It usually just happens when I least expect it.

Do you know how much I love coming here and seeing posts from Pokey Pea friends about what is going on in your lives? Can you tell I haven't gotten out much lately? I think that the steroids are helping, but I don't know how much. I hope to actually go do a little shopping Sat. if I can. Lisa, LisaDV I can't believe you are cooking for your workers!! I hate to cook, so I'd use the demolition process as an excuse to NEVER cook. You know that you have made life-long friends of those guys. Feeding a hungry man is a smart move while they are working for you. I love it. In answering your question about Holiday Cards or Christmas cards, I wasn't thinking about business. Of the cards we receive from businesses, they are about half and half. maribeth , I love your quote of the day. Those hours seem to slip away without much thought some days. Good thing to remember! Hope you can do some scrapping this weekend. Are you still working long hours? Cindy, scrapincin , you are decorated? I did spend about a half hour going through all the stuff I piled in front of the Christmas boxes in the basement. We bought DH a new lathe for Christmas today and we need to do some rearranging of our food storage to get it in. We have decided his wood shop dust is really contributing to my sinus issues so also bought a couple of big dust collectors and air purifier systems today. I told him that could be my Christmas presents. I think it's possible to get all the Christmas things out now. I just need a couple of cute granddaughters to come help carry the village boxes upstairs. I must be feeling better, because I am getting excited about decorating. Bonnie, sbartist , I was sure you had stamped those pretty corner flowers. That's really pretty paper. You do such detailed and beautiful work. I'd love to come play with all your fun dies. Wanna move to Utah? Kelly, kellyr21, Did you complete your wreaths and get them delivered to the moms? I'd love to see their faces as they place them on their doors. You are such a great daughter and DIL. Ron and his family are lucky to have you. Hope you are getting some creative time this weekend. It's middle of the night and I'm not sleepy since I took a long nap after helping rearrange our storage. I have a scrapbook page I started on Nov.1 still sitting, almost finished. I may work on it a little before going back to bed. Have a wonderful weekend all you Pokeys. It's great to hear from you and share your passions.

Good morning Pokeys
Quote of the Day: “When we engage in what we are naturally suited to do, our work takes on the quality of play and it is play that stimulates creativity.” — Linda Naiman
I really relate to this quote as it pertains to scrapbooking. Although I sometimes enjoy participating in scrapping events that often provide challenges which are centered around techniques or products I have not used, for the most part, the best scrapping experiences I have are we I sit down and start scrapping the way I would "naturally", and then I am pleasantly surprised when I find those creative juices starting to flow and the pages seem to come easily.
Enjoy decorating, or scrapping, or shopping, or whatever it is that you have planned for your day. Me, trying to get the holiday home complete so I can make my cards tomorrow and mail them off on Monday.
Nylene - so glad to hear you are feeling better. It is no fun for a Pokey to be under the weather.

Good morning! maribeth I love that quote. That's exactly how I feel about scrapbooking nylene I hope all the dust collect equipment helps with your sinuses. My husband's dust collector makes a gigantic difference in our basement. It really works fabulously. DH and I are going to attempt a little shopping today. I hope it's not too crowded. We're just looking at one store (I think) because he has a lot of trouble maneuvering in crowds. We're going to replace our silverware from 32 years ago. It was really good quality, so I hope we can find something affordable today. He really likes the weight of the old stuff, but all the forks have gone wonky over the years, and it's a discontinued pattern. I hope I can get some scrapping done today. I just got a delivery from scrapbook.com, and I'm itching to use it. However I offered to help SIL with formatting and editing her dissertation, and it just showed up in my mailbox. I'd better learn the APA style manual quickly, ha ha. I'm so proud of her going back for her PhD at age 50. Oh yeah, I also need to decorate the tree. I might save that for tonight with a fire and cocoa.

Hey guys, how to you tag, I just can figure that out? Hi Maribeth, You put an @ sign in front of their name like @ Maribeth (with no space between). If it doesn't work, go back and check the person's name. Hover over their user name and you'll see the proper version. It has to be the original name they signed up with. Lots of people changed their name to add symbols that weren't allowed in the signup name. Easy peasy.

Good afternoon, nylene, hope the dust collection and air purifier helps. We have an air purifier and it helps hubs with his very mild asthma. maryannscraps, enjoy your shopping. Me: I've been to the grocery store already this morning - the close one it's only 1/2 hour away. I came home to 2 children that hadn't moved since I left. The both told me they had, 1 had put away the dw dishes and the other had used the restroom. ha. Hubs was working. It's beautiful here. We were suppose to be watching Star Wars movies, DD has never watched them with us but with the new movie coming out this month....But they're all outside instead. Got to enjoy this nice weather. So I'm off to the outside as well, just wanted to check in and see what you all were up to.

Good Morning fellow Pokeys maryannscraps - thanks! Now I can link nylene - Yes still long hours, however I did finally get a new assistant who is knowledgeable in bookkeeping/accounting, and therefore I will no be able to take more time off. I was able to get away for 10 days in October to go visit my sister in Iowa and I had a blast taking courthouse photos (there are 99 of them in Iowa and no I did not get them all - LOL), and National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). I even got to upload some of my photos to Wikipeidia under there listing of National Register of Historic Places. It is always fun when I get a photo that has not been uploaded yet so that I can be the one to upload it. Quote of the Day: Scrapbooking isn't about scraps of paper and photos. Scrapbooking is about scraps of life - yours and those special to you. ~Rebecca SowerThis is what scrapbooking is about to me! Especially the part about "those special to you" - That is why I am so passionate about my project scrapping. Well I didn't quite finish the decorating as I had hoped, but today is absolutely the last day! And I am pretty much there. Mostly have to re-hang all the pictures on the wall that were taken down and wrapped like gifts, and hubby will have to help me with some of those. The tree topper, which again hubby will have to assist with. One light strand I have to go hunt for because I already put it back in the shed thinking I was not going to use it, but of course found I needed it after all. A quick cleaning (hubby will do the major cleaning next week - he is retired so he takes care of the house and cooking on a regular basis), and then I think I can start my cards. What ever you choose to do today Pokeys enjoy it to the fullest!

Good Monday morning to the Pokeys! Well back to work for me today . But it is a necessary evil allowing me to do things like eat, have heat, and of course the really important thing BUY SCRAPBOOKING SUPPLIES!!!!!! Quote of the Day: Don't Worry, Be Scrappy Author: Play on words of Bobby McFerrinDidn't get to start my cards yesterday, but I am DONE! with the house (save a few items I need to put batteries in, hubby is going shopping today), and wash the fancy drink glasses that only come out once a year, but all in all it is DONE!. If I can get any good photos I will post them. It is always so hard to get good Christmas decoration photos (entire scene shots) because the lighting can be so uneven. Any tips? I have two digital SLR cameras an old Olympus 8mp and a new Cannon, a small old Kodak point and shoot and of course my phone, Samsung Galaxy 5. Have a happy day Pokeys.

maribeth, I am loving your scrapbook quotes of the day. Those are my feelings exactly about scrapping. Thank you for taking the time to share with us. I have no suggestions on photographing your Christmas decorations, but I want to see the photos. Glad your work is a bit less stressful now. Hang in there! I am not feeling much better. My Internist referred me to another specialist whom I will see on Wed. and I'm scheduled for xrays tomorrow. This feeling yucky is getting really old. I am so tired all the time and short of breath. scrapincin, I don't know how you function like this all the time. I hope your meds are helping with the shortness of breath and fatigue. I was hoping to get some of my Christmas stuff up today, but not sure I have the energy. Maybe little bits at a time. I'm glad my Christmas cards are all made so I just need to address and write them. That's one less thing to do, and the shopping is pretty much done. kellyr21, I was going to go look for a wreath or materials to make one like yours today, but it will have to wait. Did your mothers enjoy them? Waving hi to maryannscraps, LisaDV and sbartist. Be back later.

Happy Monday! Boy, what a weekend I had. Saturday was wreath delivery day for the moms and they both just loved them. I blogged about it so stop by. This post features the one I made for my mom and the next post will be about the one for my mil. Christmas Wreaths part 2Also, yesterday was our city's Christmas parade. It was 80 degrees and we were celebrating Christmas! LOL! Well, I guess that's how we roll out here. So we enjoyed and took pictures under the big and beautifully decorated Christmas tree. Tonight is the tree lighting ceremonies so if we aren't too tired we might pop over there. Last year it was so cute especially for kids. They had activities and even snow. Maribeth- Yes, the daily quotes are very nice. Thanks for sharing them with us. Nylene- Oh, I hope you get some relief soon and fast! Hang in there! I hope you can find some low key activities to comfort you and have fun with until you are back on your feet. Sending you a big hug! Cindy- Hope you had a fun sports weekend. I heard Michigan St got in the playoffs. Is that the team you also like, I can't remember? Also, Johnny football will be the Browns quarterback now. Boy, I hope this will straighten him out so they can win a few more games. Waving hi to all you ladies and wishing you a nice and pleasant evening.

Hello Friends! It was a great weekend, albeit without any scrapping. I did work with my papers a little bit making gift card holders for my nieces and nephews. DH and I got our shopping done very easily--we picked out a nice set of flatware that I had a 25% off coupon for. I'm excited to have forks with tines that all point in the same direction. We spent most of Sunday with DS's Eagle Project workday. He is supplying a shelving system and toiletry kits to a local homeless shelter. The shelves are finished, but yesterday we put together 500 toiletry kits. Holy cow that was a lot of work. He had 10 people in two assembly lines going for about three hours. It was about 500 lbs of toiletry supplies. Phew! We were so achy at the end of the day. All that's left is to deliver everything to the shelter next Saturday. Then he can send in his paperwork. Then last night was his winter band concert at New England Conservatory. They have a gorgeous concert hall, and the kids played so well. I really enjoyed it. Here's a link to Jordan Hall so you can see how pretty it is. I'm so busy this week, I hope I can get a little card making and scrapping done too. Evidently, I'm the pokiest of pokey peas. Hang in there nylene! maribeth I love the quotes, thanks for putting them out there. Enjoy your week, ladies.

maryannscraps - Yay for your DS participation in the Eagle Project, kuddos to him, as well as band participation. (The hall is lovely by the way). Busy weekend for sure, but sounds like all everything you participated in was well worth the effort. Glad you got some new flatware! Don't forget to post your card projects, those count for participating in the challenge (I think).

Good evening to all, nylene , I hope this new referral will be able to get to the bottom of things for you. Hugs. maribeth , I'm loving the daily quotes. Glad you are all decorated, and although I have no lighting tips, I can't wait to see your decorations. With our construction, I think I'll have to live vicariously through your decorations this year. kellyr21 , Glad the Moms loved them. I'll be going to your blog to read more after this post. maryannscraps , Jordan Hall is quite lovely. What instrument does your son play? Is the NEC a high school? It's awesome that he participates in Eagle Scouts. We decorated an outside pine tree last Friday, so that the kids had some form of decoration. We played outside on Saturday and on Sunday, we all went to church together. It was quite terrific. DD had a really hard week last week health wise until Friday. Then she woke up early Sunday hurting, but after some breakfast and time she felt fine. Woo Hoo. And so far she has not gotten car sick!! That's a first in over a year! Dare I do it, yes, Another WOO HOO! Construction is going well. They bust their bottoms and don't dawdle. I'm quite impressed. Unfortunately, it has led to things piled everywhere. We can't even sit at the dining table. Then today, he says I have to move a bookshelf in my craft/school room. It was the kids school work shelf. And so there are even more boxes and piles. Then the kids go to finish their writing assignment which is only their final check and then my check with them for an online class. I can't find the flash drive that we had it on. I've looked everywhere. I've prayed on it. I sent a note to the teacher asking for an extension in the hopes that I can spend a couple of days cleaning the piles and will find it. The kids are aware that they may have to redo the work and they are NOT happy with their momma right now. If that happens, I'll have to do something to make it up to them. Waving a tired hand to all and wishing you a good night. ** ETA - I found the flash drive with the kids homework last night before bed!! WOO HOO*** Good morning everyone! Hope everyone has a spectacular day!

Good Tuesday morning Pokeys No quote for today, because I have a project to upload. Finally got a start on my Christmas Cards, albeit they are simple, I have chosen the following Christmas poem for the sentiment. "Christmas Day" I’ll sing you a song of Christmas A season of love and of joy Of baubles and holly and children all waiting To unwrap that special toy
The candles they all now are lighted The mistletoe’s first kiss awaits The trees are dressed and children all trying To hear Santa unlocking their gates
Christmas is a time for sharing For remembering those we hold dear This Christmas let’s all make a promise Feeling pretty good with my progress today. By the way do cards count for the actual challenge here, or does it have to be a layout?
Have a wonderful day Pokeys

maribeth, of course cards count! And so do any other projects, including wreaths. We just want to encourage everyone to be creative. I love your cards. I'll leave a note in the gallery. You are so dedicated to do so many individual ones. I pick a pattern and do them all the same that year. Great for mass producing while sitting in a hotel room in the middle of nowhere (Wendover NV) in October each year! I love your Christmas poem. Such a sweet sentiment. LisaDV, I'm so glad you found the flash drive. As I was reading I thought I must pray for her, and then I saw you found it. I do a lot of "finding prayers". Seems like I misplace things at the worst times. But I'm always rewarded with finding it or with a peace that it wasn't important anyway or that it's gone and I need to redo/remake/replace. Whichever, it's always ok. Hope your DD can stay pain free and not car sick. That's never fun for anyone. Wishing you lots of good luck with the renovations. maryannscraps, your son's Eagle Project sounds wonderful. I'm proud of him for working toward that Rank. To supply both the shelving and the hygiene kits is a huge project. I'm sure you were exhausted when you finished. My son is an Eagle Scout and I've worked on many, many Eagle projects. I love to see the boys take the leadership and tell the youth and adults helping exactly what they should do. Such a great experience for them. They learn such good life skills while completing all the requirements. Tell him congrats from me! BTW, that concert hall is amazing. What does he play? I had my xrays today and hit two stores for small gifts. That was enough to wear me out. My goal for the rest of the day is to dust my house and do the laundry. Boy, I'm not accomplishing much! I bought a Michaels wreath (60%off) for my door and that may be the extent of my decorations this year.(not nearly as pretty as yours, kellyr21) I just don't have the stamina to put things up even with the help of grandchildren and a great husband. I'm hoping I'll make a marvelous recovery after seeing the ENT tomorrow. LOL! Love your blog post, Kelly. Cindy, I'll respond to your email later this afternoon. Nice to hear from you!

Extremely Pokey Pea checking in.... I got a teeny bit lost... But I've found my way back. It's going to take me a while to catch up. I'm still here in Florida. DH has been extended until 2018, and we found out a couple of weeks ago that the UK are buying the aircraft, and that it will be based just down the road from our house back in Scotland, the house I thought I'd never live in again! I will probably go home with the kids in 2017 after my oldest graduates HS so she can attend college, and gives my youngest time to adjust before his exams. I'm sorry to see others with health issues. I too have been struggling this year. I'm having surgery next week, which should fix it, and make me good as new Mum is visiting over Christmas. My Dad passed away in September - he was diagnosed with ALS in 2014, and died 14 months later. This is our first holiday season without him, and its hard. Feeling so poorly hasn't helped either. But Mum is coming to look after me, as only Mums can, and it will be a comfort for us both to be together this year. Scrapbooking has been very scarce this year, and I'm hoping to get back on the wagon once my energy levels are better. I've been doing more quilting and sewing though, so my creative brain has still kept busy Looking forward to catching up with you all x

Good Wednesday morning Pokeys. Hope everyone is feeling better today. No daily quote today as I have another round of cards. Again simple, but that is what it is this year. I am hoping to get an earlier start next year so that I can produce something more elaborate. 358 by Maribeth and Jim Robison, on Flickr Only holiday stress I now have is Saturday's get together. Inviting my new assistant and her husband, and the new receptionist that was hired to be my assistant but knows no accounting so she was unable to help me, but they kept her on as receptionist and file clerk. Which is probably good, but know we have too many people since my assistant is good at what she does. Anyhow, I didn't get to ask her yesterday, because our part time scale clerk who works one day at the scale and one day here in the office (see too many people), and the receptionist had a feud over 15 years ago and can not be in attendance at social events (they manage here at work but just barely). So I am inviting the scale clerk and her husband to a dinner next week, but didn't want to offend and invite the receptionist in front of her. Yikes what a sticky wicket. The accounting assistant and the receptionist have already become chummy so I thought inviting them together would be a good thing. Now if the receptionist and her husband can't make it Saturday, I don't know who to invite to provide and additional couple in which to socialize with. Ugh, trying to put things together with like minded and lifestyle people is so stressful. Have a very happy day, whatever it is you choose to do.

Happy Wednesday! My day is starting off with some nice plans. I am officially starting my Christmas cards today! I got all my pp and supplies out and hope to sort through it all and gets some good ideas. Of course this might mean a trip to M's tonight so we'll see. Also, I posted my mil's wreath on my blog. So pretty! Christmas Wreath part 3Later this week I will start to post some of the art I worked on over the last few months. I wanted art I can use in my living room. Nylene and Cindy, I know you ladies have been waiting to see what I was up to and now I can share. For you new ladies, I started working on redecorating my apartment. I am making pillow covers and window valances which has been a fun new thing to try. So this lead me to sewing and using the machine my mil gave me a while ago. I haven't finished these projects yet but hope to get them done this year! LOL! Sarah- Hey there! It is great to see you and glad you are still here in the US. Wishing you continued good health and a wonderful time with your mother and family this Christmas. Nylene- Yeah, I wish we all could come over and help you decorate and shop. Of course, we would talk scrapping until you were able to do it. Hang in there my friend! Maribeth- The holidays can be so stressful but I hope your dinners go well. Oh, I am off to see your beautiful cards! How many in all did you make?
