I've been asked to put together a basket of "stuff" (actual words) for the teachers at ds' school. They do some kind of challenges during December and the winning team (6th, 7th, or 8th grade teachers) gets this massive basket of goodies. The basket gets left in the teacher's lounge and the goodies get shared.
There can't be anything alcoholic and needs to be big enough for 15-20 people.
One of the teachers said that last year, the basket was just full of bulk items you would find at Sam's, and everyone loved it.
I'd like to do something "12 Days of Christmas"-themed, but all I can come up with is "a bag of candy in a basket" instead of "a partridge in a pear tree".
Please help!

I'd get shelf stable snacky types of things.
Hard sausage.
Stable cheese.
Cookies.
Pretzels dipped in chocolate.
Wasabi peas.
Dried fruit.
Cans of juice, soda, bottles of tea & water.

Caramel corn (or the three kind combo), fudge, small bite sized candy bars, crackers…
Parents will often bring in homemade items, so anything that you think a person might not bake at home would be good.

Can you find any sparkling pear flavored drink? I know I've seen bottles of non-alcoholic sparkling pear juice. Maybe there are cans of flavored water since there are so many flavors available now. Just a thought to tie into the pear tree idea.

I'm sorry, but I would just go with the snacky stuff. Its getting too close to Christmas and time is short. If they really liked the snack stuff from last year, maybe just go with a winning idea. You could always decorate the basket as a partridge in a pear tree and go from there.
