Hooray! So glad to hear from you. Up, walking, clutching pearls... what a gal! Look after yourself and I will check back in the morning my time. Lol I'm trying my best but the hospital gown only has one pair of tying tape and it's at the neck so it's rather draughty at the rear Thanks @bumpsy ask for another one and put is on like a coat over the top of the one you've got

So glad to see you back!! Now, be sure to follow doctor's orders so your recovery goes quickly! As a PP said, get another gown and wear it like a coat. That's the only way to prevent showing more of yourself than you want while shuffling to the bathroom.

I'm glad everything went well PascoePea! Does your recovery involve lots of lying on the couch Peaing? If so, you could find yourself moving from Pearl Clutcher to Drama Llama in no time!

Our very positive friend needs our help and support today, please Refupeas.
She has a surgery today which she has been looking forward to (which is in itself a reminder what a positive person she is) so I am asking for the power of the peas to go with her and out to her.
My thoughts: may the medical team's hands be guided, may the nursing staff be the kindest of kind. May your DH have an absolute minimum of stress. I hope we "see" you on the board very soon, and that you are back home and recovering according to plan. Gentle hugs, my friend. Amen! Prayers and hugs for your surgery, doctors and DH. "See" ya soon!

Thanks gar - only 2 hours sleep the other people in high dependency had machines running all night and my surgery was on the side I sleep. Anyhow I've had tea and toast for breakfast and will be moved into the main ward later today. I'm clutching my pearls tightly and have asked hubby to dig out my kitten heels, to bring in later

Great news that your surgery has gone well. Am delighted to see you back peaing. Sleep when you can and when you feel like jumping on the board there is sure to be someone here, day or night.
Be well x

I agree with gar Your spirit is amazing JoP Hospitals are never the best place for a sleep and it must be twice as bad with all those machines going and the back & forth of the staff in a HD unit. Fingers crossed that you get a little nap this afternoon and a better night tonight. take care x

Thanks I've had a wash, cleaned my teeth and changed into my pj's; I feel so much better. There is a bed ready for me on the general ward so I will hopefully be moving there later this morning

@bumpsy I agree the hospital gowns are not the best. Yes my M&S flannel pjs are lovely and the bonus is there's no draught

Anyway, the kitten heels and clutched pearls go with pj's better than they do with hospital gowns! Hope you have something good ordered for lunch and that it won't be long before you can go home. Take care.

I thought about you this morning when I was putting my lippy on, if you like a bright colour you'll love this- Max Factor Captivating Ruby gloss. It's the brightest red I wear and I love it. I think it would look awesome with kitten heels and flannel jammies
