Luxury personified! M & S flannel jammies! I hope you have had a pretty decent snooze by now and some nice visitors. I read an article about NHS food today and thought of you hahaha.

I thought about you this morning when I was putting my lippy on, if you like a bright colour you'll love this- Max Factor Captivating Ruby gloss. It's the brightest red I wear and I love it. I think it would look awesome with kitten heels and flannel jammies @bumpsy I've added it to my list - thanks for the tip

Perhaps you need to find some kitten heel Wellies in order to keep the germs at bay whilst you walk about the hospital. Glad to see you got more sleep and sorry to think you could be catching a cold. I hope someone from cookery class can bring you some more tempting meals.

Hope it is of short duration. See you in the morning.

Sorry to hear about the cold, that's a bummer. Rest as much as you can in a hospital bed. x

Our very positive friend needs our help and support today, please Refupeas.
She has a surgery today which she has been looking forward to (which is in itself a reminder what a positive person she is) so I am asking for the power of the peas to go with her and out to her.
My thoughts: may the medical team's hands be guided, may the nursing staff be the kindest of kind. May your DH have an absolute minimum of stress. I hope we "see" you on the board very soon, and that you are back home and recovering according to plan. Gentle hugs, my friend. Amen

Hello ScrapsontheRocks It's not looking promising for release tomorrow, the volume of fluids in my drains is too high On a brighter note the cold doesn't seem to have gotten any worse - hubby brought me clementines and grapes, plus some stem ginger cookies

Maybe he will bring you in something from M&S next.....and they sell the single serving glasses of wine! We went went to a concert in Newcastle last night and stayed overnight in a hotel there so our dinner may come from Subway tonight - pouring down with rain and blowing a gale here though so I'm going to need a 'volunteer' to pop out for the subs! Glad to hear the cold isn't getting any worse and hope it won't be long before its decided the fluid is behaving itself and you can go home. Rest and sleep well tonight, everyone here thinking of you.

Thank you BarbaraUK - single serving wine, that's a thought Fortnumn & Mason are selling champagne Popsicles ...... It's just a tad far for hubby to collect from F&M Subway for dinner sounds like a good idea for tonight - which concert did you see?
