Those tea towels are beautiful. What kind of sewing machine do you have?
I haven't done many Christmas projects, other than fixing up an Advent calendar my mom had started years ago and making large, drawstring bags for gifts.

Those are awesome. I Love the silverware design.
I don't have any of my Christmas presents done yet. I've got two cut out and sitting on my sewing table but I'm lacking motivation to get them done. I need to get working though because I've only got another week or so to get it all done.
The one that's intimidating me is my son's trench coat. It's a downloaded pattern from Burda Style and the instructions are sparse.

I have made all my family their own pillowcases. Missouri Star Quilt Co has a super quick and simple tutorial to make tube pillow cases. Tube Pillow Case tutorial They can be whipped out in no time. And adding embroidery for personalizing them would be so easy to do. |

This was one of those bare wood cheapo items at Joann's that was even cheaper with a coupon. I painted it green and distressed it with brown. Then sprayed it with silver glitter paint. Used Stickles on the second to the top section before gluing on the buttons. Added the embellishments from my massive stash. Dd has no room for a real tree in her apartment so this will suffice.  |

I need some motivation too. I have two pairs of pajama pants and a flannel nightgown that I need to cut out and sew, and I'm just not feeling inspired to get going on it. I have a brand new Janome sewing machine that I bought almost a YEAR ago that I haven't even plugged in yet!  Ugh. I need to just start and it will probably only take a few hours to do, but my work tables are cluttered up with junk again. Why can't my space just stay clean? |
