I love transforming these clear glass globes into beautiful glitter ornaments. I add some beads via an eye pin to the top (not shown) for an attachment. Perfect gift for teachers.

What liquid did you use? If it was floor wax, what brand? There was a thread a while back about these and I have everything but the floor wax, which I seem to remember was hard to find.
Really cute ornaments - I love the green one!

I have a really old bottle of the original future floor wax (my DH puts together plastic car models and he had some in his stash), but I got the idea from this site link which references the new brand of future of wax. HTH

I tried this and my glitter clumped in the bottom of the globe and wouldn't coat evenly. I'm not doing something right.

Really cute ornaments - I love the green one! When I did these a couple years ago, I bought floor wax at the dollar store. Back then it was in a blue bottle.

Those are pretty. I feel like I've missed a trick everyone else knows like stovetop canned caramel, or something.

Someone made these for me and they have photos of my dog inside against the glass and then the glitter.

These are THE rage on all the Silhouette facebook groups I think the floor polish has changed a lot in the years since this craft first made its appearance. Most recommend using polycrylic now, for the liquid in the ornaments. Pour some in, let it drain out for a while, then add the micro glitter. They are super pretty!
