I have been getting the Freckled Fawn embellishment kit from the beginning. I'll hold out for Jan to see if I get anything with 2016. Then I'm out. I'm drowning in stuff.

I cancelled my Documenter kit at SC with a convo I started Friday and got an answer to on Monday. Happy with my decision there. I extended my Story kit and Story stamp subs for 6 months each and got two free stamp sets. I really want to tell my stories in 2016. I am drooling over the OLW albums and kit for 2016 but haven't decided yet. I really need to make this coming new year a no spend one.

I have canceled everything but Felicity Jane.
I always love her papers. But i am really thinking of going on a spending freeze for while. I have a ton of stuff and really only do PL now.
Decisions, decisions.

I'm continuing on with my Boy Crazy kit from Scrapbook Generation. I love that one and it helps me not feel like I have to overbuy on the boy papers, because the really nice lines are usually in the kits! My mom bought me the Generations kit (more themed-based papers) for my birthday through December. That worked great for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas photos. I am trying to decide if I want to continue with that one or sub to one of their other kits. The generation one is great, but I don't take or scrap as many "themed" photos the early part of the year. Although with DS in preschool I might get some cute Valentine party photos! I don't think there's anything else out there tempting me, which is good! The rest of my supplies I like to buy as I see stuff and then make up my own kits with those goodies. The SG kits are different bc they come with instructions and a sketch, so I LOVE how fast those pages come together.

In the past I subbed to SC PL kit, SC Main kit, AE Story Stamp, and AE Story kit. Over time, I dropped all of them.
I have no intention of restarting any of them this next year because I have been in a major scrapping slump all this year. I am continuing PL next year, but my plan is to use the Everyday Edition core kit from BH and what's remaining of my small stash. I am REALLY considering a typewriter to type up my journaling on those cards, but I don't want to take up the space. We'll see. I'm just not very into scrapbooking right now, but I SO appreciate the final PL album so it is worth it to me to continue for now.
I border all my cards and photos with a white border, so I will need to buy white cardstock and adhesive next year and that's it unless I get inspired to start doing more again.

I'm keeping my Ali Edwards Story Kit and Stamp subs, but that's about it. I've toyed with the idea of finding a PL sub, but I have SO MANY cards from the days when I would try to collect all of the Becky HIggins sets. I think its time to use those up a bit.

I've ditched my SB and PL subs from SC. In 2016 I'll definitely be sticking with my Story Kit (extended it til the end of the year) but am undecided about anything else. I've been trying out Citrus Twist SB which I quite like, although am not too keen on the stamps included. CT are starting to introduce exclusive papers from January, so I'll see what that kit looks like. However, at this stage I'm thinking I'll probably cancel and try to have 4-5 months just using up the SB kits I've accumulated. I want to scrap a whole lot of photos from the 90s and once I start working my way through those I'll have a better idea about how much product I actually need for that task.
I have a small scrap room and am running out of storage space so think I'll feel better once I use up some stuff!!

If I was going to pick up a new sub, it would be to Ali's story kit. No stamps .
I really think the scrapbook industry has lost its way in re: to telling the story. Stamps are fine - but for me - they never really help 'tell' the story I want to tell. They are just cute, etc.

I'm keeping Ali's story kit and stamp as I've just extended them an additional 6 months. I'll re-evaluate afterward. I haven't used in of my kits but I have been crazy busy the past 6 months. I am also keeping my Scraptastic and Felicity Jane kits (scrapbook only) but I will probably cancel sometime mid 2016. I'm on a mission next year to scrap more and buy less.

I plan on continuing with my AE story stamps & kits for the new year. With the Canadian $$ its pretty pricey but worth it for me. I still have plenty of stash and really I like having some extra around to buy other things from other stores.

I will continue my Hip Kit and while I've been looking at FJ for a long time I think I'll hold off for now and just admire from afar. I did sign up for One Little Word for 2016 and ordered the supplies for that.

Yes, I do trim everything to fit. It is worth it to me for the way it looks and I don't feel like it takes long at all. All the white makes my PL much brighter and cleaner. I used to have a gallery at SC and a blog for a while, but I deleted it all so I don't have anything online to show you right now.

I am continuing with my AE Story Kit sub, and will just be picking up the Story Stamps as I please when they interest me. Another Canadian here too, so with the falling dollar and a limited scrapping budget, that will be all for me. I am also participating in OLW this year, so have ordered the cream and gold album... I am considering the Mini Kit with the chipboard dividers, because I LOVE black and white... but I don't really care for the stamp set. So $35 Cdn is a little much considering I only want the dividers. (I actually ordered last years kit instead, as I think that stamp set is more versatile)

I canceled at SC this summer. I'm still subbing to Ali's Story Kit and stamp, and will continue that for at least 6 months.
I also sub to Scraptastic's PL kit. I'm keeping that for now, but I'm not sure how long.
Other than that, I'm putting myself on a freeze, I think. I have plenty to keep me scrapping for a looooooong time.

I cancelled SC a few months back & just now sent in a request to cancel AE. That's it, I will be sub free & I think I might stay that way for most of next year. I like the idea of using up my stash. I was preparing stuff the other day for my nieces to come over & make Christmas cards & I could not believe the quality & quantity in my vintage SC kits. (But I digress) I plan to re-visit all my old classes & just use my stash; I might use my scrappy budget to buy a new camera lens. (ETA: and I'm thinking of signing up to Katrina Kennedy's 365 for the year - the top level) But then again I'll still be reading here & you guys are such helpful enablers, so who really knows?

cath4k well, now you have done it! what little i had accomplished on my dd2015 has now been un-done so that i can put a white border on everything. i love the way it looks and the way everything really pops off the page. thank you for sharing that idea. and, please, if you ever decide to post in an online gallery again, let me know. i would love to see some examples of your pl pages.

I will be finishing up a 6 month Citrus Twist sub soon. I've loved it, but the stuff has piled up! This happens to me every year---I'm a teacher, so my kits pile up until Christmas and summer breaks and then I do a year's worth of LOs in a few weeks! I'm tempted to try Scraptastic since you get a choice between two kits, but that's also work on my part to remember to log in and choose, etc. I am a little hesitant about Citrus Twist starting to use exclusive papers in 2016 as well. I like getting papers from new collections every month. The "you can only get it here" hype just doesn't appeal to me. I do also do PL and I stay pretty caught up with that--I tend to run about a month behind, but I always use a core kit I just bought the Aqua kit at HL with a coupon the other day and wrapped it for me as a gift from DH. I love the idea of a PL kit sub, but for PL to work for me, I have to keep it very simple. I've been doing it since 2010 and have completed albums to show for every year, so clearly that approach works for me!

I cancelled my Freckled Fawn sub a month ago but I'm keeping my Felicity Jane sub.
The other three are on the chopping block. And those are Studio Calico, Ali Edwards and The Planner Society. I'm going to decide after I get the January kits.

I am thinking of subbing to a kit club this year. I am just trying to narrow down the choices. I can't find anything inspiring at my big box stores. Picking out scrapbook supplies has become an overwhelming process for me. I think the kits would help me get out of some of the ruts I have created for myself.

I dropped all my Studio Calico subs except Ali's story kits and stamps. I'm staying with her through June.
I have Cocoa Daisy main scrapbook kit sub. I will keep that through the spring.
I am considering picking up Felicity Jane later in 2016. I haven't had time to scrap lately and that won't change for a few months. March/April is always the time I'm looking for something new and fresh and FJ is top of my list to try.
Overall, I'm feeling tired of the sub game. Delayed shipping, missing items, FOMO, every kit looking so same-y, etc. It's worn me down.

just wondering what everyone is planning to do as we transition into 2016. i was all set to cancel everything (on top of everything else, the canadian dollar is at an 11.5 year low against the american dollar! ) but, truth be told, i have not been able to click cancel on my story sub. i just sub to the kit because i know myself well enough to know i would not get enough mileage out of the stamps but i do love the kit and the classroom content. that is it. i have cancelled everything else (i cancelled at sc as soon as the first (??) crazy train left the station earlier this year) including my very short-lived FJ sub (still waiting for a kit that was mailed 23 november!) and my planner subs. i am yet undecided on OLW which is not a sub but which would likely mean a purchase what is everyone else planning to do? ETA: yay, my FJ kit just arrived so now I am off to open it! Earlier in 2015 I had subs to Scraptastic, Citrus Twist, SC and AE. All are gone but AE. I said I was going to cancel my Story subs (kit and stamp) but like kellyv I haven't been able to push the button. I'm on month-to-month now so maybe I'll see what the 2016 kits look like and then make a decision.

I just sent in my cancellation for AE Story Kit and Stamp. I stuck it out until the end of the year, but I just have too much piling up. I don't scrap as fast as the products come, lol. That's all I subscribe to.

I am keeping my Ali Edwards Story kit subscription but not the Story Stamp. I'm not just much of a stamper and I can't keep buying stamps simply because they look pretty in my craft room I am planning on using up my stash as much as possible in the coming year and save myself some €uro! That's the plan at least...let's see how long that lasts!

I have no subs right now. I keep going back and forth in my mind about subbing to Felicity Jane. That's the only kit on my radar right now. It is very much my style. I get so inspired by their DT, especially Jen Schow. I'm a stamper so I really like the huge stamp set included, but I could take it or leave it most months. I do like that the paper add on is only $5 and ships free. I'm hoping that this year she offers more add ons.
I have SO MUCH stuff in my craft room it's ridiculous. I could probably scrap every day for 2 years and I wouldn't use up my stash. So that guilt is holding me back from subbing. But I have no other vices in life and dammit I deserve a treat at least once a month, right?!
