I bought some butterscotch chips but need some ideas on how to use them. What are your favorite recipes? Thanks!

Not a recipe, but rolled up and baked inside crescent rolls. Also good with chocolate and mint chips (the kids go crazy for this on Saturday mornings).

Melted and blended with chow mien noodles and peanuts. Drop in little haystacks on wax paper until they harden up.

Someone next to me a craft show was selling the beer breads mix (forgot the company) and instead of using beer, used cream soda and butterscotch chips. It was amazing!

Peanut butter rice krispie treats with a chocolate and butterscotch topping. I make rice krispie treats as I normally would, add peanut butter to the mixture. Then after I have flattened them in a pan I top the treats with a layer of melted chocolate and butterscotch chips that have been mixed together.

I can't ever use them for anything other than the Oatmeal Scotchie recipe on the back of the bag! My favorite cookie on the planet! ;-)

I just eat them right out of the bag. I like mixing them with the milk chocolate chips and just eat them by the handfuls.

Chocolate Scotcheroos from the Karo Syrup bottle and only at Christmas time. Which reminds me I really need to make these for my grandson.

I buy them for treats for my Sugar Glider. She loves them. One for her, five for me, one for her eight for me...

My kids love cinnamon muffins with them. Pancakes. Banana bread or muffins. Substitute them for chocolate in your favorite cookie recipe.

oatmeal scotchie bars are my favorite... seven layer bars are great, too (but a bit sweet for me without a LARGE glass of milk)

If they are the nestle ones from the grocery store the oatmeal cookie recipe on the back of the bag is fabulous!

I just throw them in with brownie mix ingredients (usually with some white chocolate also). And as a drizzle on cheesecake: it's a cheesecake with a chocolate graham crust and then butterscotch, white chocolate, and another chocolate drizzled on top.
I've tried them in coffee cake as well but wasn't impressed.

A slightly different idea ... I like to make homemade "magic shell" for ice cream with butterscotch chips. So easy - you basically melt coconut oil & chips in the microwave & stir until combined. Pour over ice cream & it hardens right up.

Funny you should ask, I just saw this recipe in a magazine and was planning to try it, the holidays being the only time I would indulge in something so over the top!! (ETA - I am going to use butterscotch chips instead of peanut butter chips) Tiger Butter Fudge

Scotcheroos for sure. It is the official food of our family get togethers. It's not a party without Scotcheroos. They are so addictive.

I really like most of these recipes.
My faves are 7-layer bars.
No-bake haystacks are a close second. I add mini marshmallows to mine in addition to the chips, chow mein noodles and peanuts.

Oatmeal Scotchies. They were my dads favorite, I always think of him when I see or make these. I also like haystacks.

I have added half a bag to my tollhouse cookies for years and years. Whole bag of the chocolate chips and half a bag of butterscotch chips.... Oh and a cup of pecans. They are loved very much by my family and friends.
