Panera Bread copycat recipe for Turkey Chili. It's so good and loaded with yummy veggies. Do you have the recipe? I tried it at Panera for the first time a few weeks ago and loved it! I tried to duplicate it at home, but I'm not sure I included everything. We are having some sort of meat, I took some frozen leftovers out of the freezer, not sure it its turkey or pork loin We're also having roasted brussel sprouts and Stovetop stuffing, cuz I'm fancy like that. Here is the link to the recipe. I use ground turkey instead of shredded like the recipe uses. Panera Bread Turkey Chili

Son's birthday so we went to Jamie's Italian restaurant in the city for a late lunch to celebrate. Everyone had something different - I had a dish with three types of fish and lemon polenta chips - everything was delicious and a good time had by all! . Too full for their fantastic desserts though.......but they brought out a surprise brownie and ice cream birthday dessert on one of their signature planks with Happy Birthday written on it in caramel sauce for Son! Jealous!!! I looooove Jamie Oliver ... they just opened his first Canadian restaurant but it is in Toronto and I am in Calgary

We had build your own beef tacos with cheese, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, green onions, guacamole, and salsa, with a side of Mexican rice.

We have been nibbling all day here and I guess we will continue to nibble. Not making dinner. Still in pajamas (so is my sister) ... but I'm going to go take a shower now. I had both my DGS and DS's GF's 6yo here earlier, but my BIL and niece took them off to Chuck E. Cheese and maybe to play in the mud, too, so if they're back here at dinner time, hopefully they won't be hungry.

I took everyone out today to our favorite restaurant for a special Christmas meal for lunch after church. We didn't really eat til about 2:30 or so. We ordered everything except alcohol - appetizers, Italian sodas for the kids, our meals and dessert and coffee. We have been planning this meal for about a month. The kids were so full that they snoozed on the way home. Lol. I had this amazing meal called tortellini calypso. It is tri-colored tortellini, stuffed with cheese in a cream sauce with crab meat, capers and asparagus. I am sure this meal will be in heaven. It is beyond delicious. Oldest ds had prawns stuffed with feta wrapped in bacon on a bed of linguine with squash, peppers and other assorted veggies. Did I mention that it was absolutely delicious? We have been eating there for more than 20 years. Lisa
