I'm thinking chicken parm, pasta with sauce and spinach or peas. I will commit to that later.
What's on your Sunday menu? Have a great Sunday everyone. Take time out to do one thing just for yourself today, even if it's only for 15 mins.

Stuffed Chicken Breasts smothered with marinara, roasted asparagus and a green salad. Mini apple pies for dessert.
ETA - Well that's the plan at 8:30am. If a better offer comes along....

As of right now I've no clue. We woke up to a freezing cold house and no hot water. The damned propane company forgot to re-fill our tank - grrrrrrr.
I went grocery shopping yesterday and bought 1/2 turkey breast, so there's a chance I might roast that, but it's not dh's favorite. Maybe we'll have soup? Right now it's anyone's guess.

Something easy peasy, probably ravioli in jarred marinara sauce with cheesy bread.

This will be the last normal, quiet night before family arrives in town and we begin the rounds of family dinners. I'll do something simple tonight...maybe soup and some cheese biscuits. We'll be eating out and visiting at the in laws almost every night this week. I'm going to enjoy one last night at home.

I'm thinking chicken parm, pasta with sauce and spinach or peas. We're having chicken parmesan -- only with roasted broccoli and cauliflower. And that god-awful frozen cheese bread stuff because that's what the son who's home from the Navy requested. Lol. Last night, we has smothered enchiladas at his request. I reserve the right to spoil him while he's home.

As of right now I've no clue. We woke up to a freezing cold house and no hot water. The damned propane company forgot to re-fill our tank - grrrrrrr. This happened to us in November, right before Thanksgiving. Pi$$ed me off, because I called twice to tell them we needed a delivery! Of course when they finally delivered the bill was almost $600!. Our previous small propane guys were great, but they were acquired by a larger nationwide company last year. OK, back to the regularly scheduled dinner thread....

I have no idea what's for dinner tonight. I don't know how many I'll be feeding, nor do I know what time, so it's very difficult to plan a meal. I will end up pulling something from the freezer at the last minute and I have tons of fresh vegetables and fruits in the house, so I know it's possible to put a complete meal on the table.

We are grilling a steak. I'm fixing roasted new potatoes, and I have some kale salad, so that might be a meal.

Baked potato soup & multi seed bread. The first time for a long time I haven't cooked a big Sunday dinner (building up to Christmas I didn't think we needed it!) but I'm making up for it with homemade soup & bread!

We are leaving for Florida in the morning so I will clean out the fridge... I think spinach and prosciutto pasta. Bring your sun screen and flip flops! I am having manicotti with an alfredo sauce that I threw in some cream cheese for extra creaminess. And before anyone gets too excited and starts thinking that I spent all day in the kitchen making them, I bought the frozen kind when they were buy one get one free. (I did, however, make the alfredo sauce. But I make it enough that it is pretty fast-so you can be impressed by that if you want. )

Well the menu says grilled chicken, oven roasted potatoes and green beans. I have thrown out there to everyone that it could be a YOYO night. We had our annual Christmas get together last night with our 2 favorite families. After what feels like months and months of running around, I'm just exhausted. DH is on vacation so he doesn't need leftovers for lunches so I'm kind of off the hook. The only thing keeping me from calling it YOYO right now? The fact that we've been eating like crap for the last week because of the craziness that is Christmas. LOL

I made potato skins about an hour ago...they were awesome. Dh got some chicken wings to have while he watched football. I baked cookies this morning so we have lots of those. I doubt they'll be any real dinner here tonight.

Panera Bread copycat recipe for Turkey Chili. It's so good and loaded with yummy veggies. Do you have the recipe? I tried it at Panera for the first time a few weeks ago and loved it! I tried to duplicate it at home, but I'm not sure I included everything. We are having some sort of meat, I took some frozen leftovers out of the freezer, not sure it its turkey or pork loin We're also having roasted brussel sprouts and Stovetop stuffing, cuz I'm fancy like that.

We created a meatloaf burrito - still have meatloaf that we have been eating for several day so I put cheese and salsa on the tortilla along with heated meatloaf and heated all together. Then add lettuce, a little cucumber (so not to waste it) and Sour cream on mine and Ranch dressing on DH. We ate one and it was so good, we had to have a second one - so now we have meatloaf burritos on our dinner plan. ALSO went to the garden and picked a couple of jalapenos to eat along with our burritos - we REALLY like HOT and SPICY.

Son's birthday so we went to Jamie's Italian restaurant in the city for a late lunch to celebrate. Everyone had something different - I had a dish with three types of fish and lemon polenta chips - everything was delicious and a good time had by all! . Too full for their fantastic desserts though.......but they brought out a surprise brownie and ice cream birthday dessert on one of their signature planks with Happy Birthday written on it in caramel sauce for Son!
