We decided that it was time to buy dd#2, age 12, a cell phone (iPhone 5S) for Christmas this year ... The price at Best Buy on a plan was something like $145 ... plus the monthly charge ... OK, we can do that ... They ring the phone up and the price comes up as $50 Woo hoo, thanks Best Buy Anyone else get a great deal this season?

Very similar but we ordered our iPhone 5S (for $129) for the kids a while back. Because we had also ordered the 6S+ for both DH and me, they decided to hold off on the 5S and deliver them all together. Two days after we got them, there was a deal that brought the 5S down to $0 for Black Friday and our carrier honoured that price. And they added 2 extra gigs of data for the family. Score!

Nice! My big score was at our local consignment toy sale. DS has wanted a javelin ship by imaginext for awhile now. Target made them for like 5 minutes in 2013, and as a result they're on ebay for 60-70 bucks. I looked with the imaginext toys, didn't see anything. Moved over to the robot table and there it was. Perfect condition javelin ship with a guy.
Picked it up thinking please be less than 20 bucks.
it was $5.50. I said a thank you, to whomever sold that ship and carried it around with me the rest of the time I shopped. I didn't even put it in my bag I was so happy. It's wrapped with a bunch of blind bags in a box under the tree. I'm so excited to see him open it.

I just purchased a Lenovo ThinkPad 15 for 50% off through work!!! Free shipping. It won't be here before Christmas, but that's okay. I currently have a Lenovo Yoga 13 that is 5 years old, so this will be an upgrade. My current Lenovo is awesome, so I am keeping my fingers crossed this new one will be just as awesome.

The bargain hunter in me loves these I got DS a plasma car ride on car for FREE thanks to obsessively collecting Pampers points. I finally cashed them in and got that as my prize. He's going to love it bc his friend has one and he always rides it over there. We also cashed in some points through our CC rewards thing and got DH a garmin running watch thing. He's excited too! That was also free!

How did you get such a good deal? Did you have points or a coupon? We would like to get our 12 yr. old a phone, but thought they were a lot more than $146 or $50! That's a great deal.

No coupon or anything ... we did get the last iPhone 5S they had in stock so that might have had something to do with it ... They want to sell the 6's now

Through work Microsoft Office 2016 was being offered for $10 - only one can be purchased per person but my son is getting a laptop for Christmas and needs office for college work, so I got it for him. Office costs upwards of $100 and many times is only offered as an annual subscription.

I love a great deal! DH and I just got the iPhone 6s at Best Buy on Friday for $1.00 each with a new 2 year contract. We spent a total of 5 hours in line (at 2 different BB's), but we finally got them! Our plan cost stayed exactly the same but we added 1GB of data. Woo-whoo!

Not an actual item score, but... I've been doing surveys in my spare time and earned $50 in Amazon gift cards, we had $38 in ebates and $75 in credit from using our credit card. We did a lot of online shopping using that $ for Christmas!!!

It was time for the 'free' upgrade for my youngest DS. I paid 0$ for an iPhone 5 -- my son is not expecting it. But I think he'll be happy. Incidentally, the phone case coat me a lot more!

Not an actual score but exciting for me just the same. We bank with PC financial which is associated with a large chain of grocery stores. You can accumulate points for using your debit card and mastercard. We save our points all year. Last night we got all our Christmas groceries, including a bunch of treats, a bunch of stocking stuffers, and presents for my mom and gift cards for my niece and nephew.
The total was $556.71.. We paid $6.71 in cash. It was so exciting to have an overflowing cart of stuff and only pay $6.00 and we still have about $30.00 in points. I felt like one of those extreme couponers without all the work.

There are so many good deals going on right now, check out your carrier's website. Back in June, we got our daughter a Samsung S5 for $1 at Best Buy with Verizon.

My husband needed a new iPhone.. We are with AT&T, went on Saturday and got him a new phone, and another iPhone 6 for free, we just needed to add a new line. The new line became youngest dd's new number. We also got the iPad mini for her, it was $99. A win for everyone.
