I add mine as an attachment rather than uploading from photobucket. Will it work for that too? You don't need to resize it, if you use the Add Attachment. The photo shows up small in the reply, then you click on it to enlarge it. No need to resize.

Thank you! I hesitate to add photos because it's a pain to resize them.

Thanks! I have tried to post an avatar picture but it is too big. Maybe this will work! I always want to share pictures, but am never able to do it. When there is a photo sharing thread, I get frustrated that I can't figure out how to post.

You don't need to resize it, if you use the Add Attachment. The photo shows up small in the reply, then you click on it to enlarge it. No need to resize. What's the difference between adding a photo as an attachment vs uploading from a third party site? You just upload it directly from your computer, instead of having to upload it to the 3rd party site, then copying the link, then posting it. Adding attachment adds it directly to your post in a small size and does no have to be resized, unless it's HUGE.

I just discovered by accident how easy it is to resize photos that we post here! This will be a big time saver now that I don't have to fool with resizing in Photobucket. This is probably common knowledge, but I though I'd share for those who were in the dark as I was! - Open the full Reply box (not the Quick Reply box)
- Insert the link to your photo using the Photo button on the toolbar
- When the photo appears in the Reply, click on it so that you see markers around the border
- Click on the top right marker and hold while you adjust the size of the photo (either smaller or larger)
- Once you are happy with the size, release the button, then click on the photo to remove the border markers
- Easy peasy, you have a better sized photo!
Awesome! I'd never noticed this. Very handy. Thanks

I have kept my Droplr account for the past two years solely for Two Peas reasons, and the cost keeps going up. Now I can dump it without issue. WOOHOO

I posted a visual tutorial on how to do this - you can find it on THIS THREAD (about the 8th post down)

It's not working for me. When you say "Insert the link to your photo using the Photo button on the toolbar" do you mean the "Insert Image" button?

It's not working for me. When you say "Insert the link to your photo using the Photo button on the toolbar" do you mean the "Insert Image" button? Yes, the Insert Image button...which looks like a photo. My brain works in mysterious ways! OK I am going to try it.... I am in Reply (not Quick Reply). I have gone into Photobucket and copied the link. Come back to this post, clicked on the "Insert Image" button, copied the URL into the field, clicked on the Insert Image button which then posts the photo. Now I click on the photo but I don't get the little re-size squares. My cursor just goes to the right of the photo.

I wonder if the browser makes a difference? I am using Firefox. Anyone else try it and have suggestions for AussieMeg? Thanks for the suggestion! I use Chrome. I just tried it in IE and it works!! I shall try it now: It works!!! although I have to say, I prefer my Chris to be bigger!! Any idea how to keep the aspect ratio? I tried holding the shift key and the CTRL key but it didn't work.

The photo shows up small in the reply, then you click on it to enlarge it. No need to resize. But then your pic comes up really small. And in pic threads where everyone is sharing pics I'm just scrolling through the page, I can't be bothered to click on your tiny pic to see it better.

It is SO much easier for me to not have to store my photo elsewhere, so, I'm okay if you decide not to look at it.
