I think I'm making PW's chicken and noodles.
What's on your menu?
Have a great Tuesday everyone.

"Medisterkaker", which is a meatball kinda thing. With potatoes, gravy and veggies. Not terrbly exciting, but I made them before xmas and put them in the freezer, and I didn't feel like spending more time in the kitchen than I had to.

I am finally back in the planning routine after failing badly through the holidays. We are having baked pork chops, mashed potatoes and green yellow bean and carrot medley.

I am having homemade flatbread pizza (120 cal) heavy on the veggies and light on the cheese. The rest of the family are making theirs on Naan bread.

Last night I made Taco Soup and only dh and I ate it ... no surprise I have a bunch leftover but I guess I'll eat it for lunch and I'll cook something that more than 50% of us like for dinner Looks like I'll be making fresh chicken and mozzarella ravioli (from Costco) with a red sauce ... dd#1 isn't crazy about this dish so she might be fending for herself again ... 75% success is good for me

Some kind of chicken soup. I decided, if I don't get to Costco for another chicken, it's really okay if there isn't that much chicken in the soup. sheesh

I picked up some arugula & Parmesan ravioli at Trader Joe's this morning...plus some marinara sauce and Italian chicken sausages. I think that might be tasty!

I was going to make butter chicken, but I ate too many calories (finnish pulla bread) so I am going to make a turkey burger and a salad

DS is having a bunch of dental work today, so I tried to choose things he could eat. We're having egg salad in wheat buns, roasted tomato soup, cheese and cracker platter, orange jello, and texas sheet cake for dessert.

I'm doing an eye round roast, sides TBD. We're having the same! I'm heading to run errands now and will pick up whatever veggies look fresh and appealing. I'd almost bet we'll have something roasted as sides -- cabbage probably. Not sure what else I'll do yet.

Chicken something I have chicken thighs and plenty of veggies to make with them but I haven't really decided what or how to cook it yet. I have all day at work today to figure it out though

I am going to whip out the spiralizer I got for Christmas and make a recipe I saw on Pinterest called Slutty pasta. It is a take off of Pasta Putanesca with zoodles instead of pasta. I will also grill some chicken sausages if the husband is going to be home. Because according to him dinner is not dinner without meat!
One of my new years resolutions was to learn how to link recipes on here so I am off to see if I can figure that out. If I am successful I will link it on here!
ETA Thanks to the help of a couple of pea friends, I can now add a link!! WOOHOO!!
This is what's for dinner....

I have a late vet appointment for 2 of my dogs, which means I won't get home until 7:00 at the earliest. Dh is on dinner cooking duty, and I've planned a v. simple easy meal. Chicken breast with a Trader Joes curry sauce, garlic naan and veggies. When I finally get home I'll re-heat some of the chicken and cook up napa cabbage to go with it.

Well, it was supposed to be pork chops (a new recipe), but I was reminded this morning that I have a meeting tonite (I reeeally need my calendar to get here already! Was it my fault I waited til last week to order it? ), so that's out. Looking like frozen pizza or Taco Bell. So much for cooking healthier tonite . . .

I am making Skinnytaste Pork Chops with Dijon Herb Sauce with brown rice & steamed veggies (probably a Steamfresh broccoli, carrot, cauliflower combo.) Trying to eat healthier when I can!

It was cold and rainy yesterday, and the forecast is the same for most of this week. I really don't want to go anywhere, and I have no idea what I will fix for dinner.
That means I will likely fix breakfast for dinner - maybe pancakes, since we haven't had them in a longgggggg time.
And bacon. Must. Have. Bacon.
I will be making a pot of potato soup, likely with ham, in the next day or two.

I'm meeting a friend for dinner. Grilled chicken on a green salad for me. I'll get a hamburger to go for Dh. I don't want to cook when I get home!
