I've had GnR's Sweet Child O' Mine forever, and I'm completely sick of it. What ringtone do you have for your kid? ETA: The ringtone I have for SO is The Good, the Bad and the Ugly because that's his favorite movie. I'm not sick of that one yet

ETA: The ringtone I have for SO is The Good, the Bad and the Ugly because that's his favorite movie. I'm not sick of that one yet I have rock a bye baby lullaby. She keeps threatening to change it to the Doctor Who theme song. I have the most obnoxious loud alarm ringtone for my dh. I switched it to that when I always missed his calls when my phone was buried in my purse.

No. I actually always keep my phone on vibrate, so I don't even have any ringtones.

My daughter's name is Molly. Her ringtone is "Good Golly, Miss Molly" by Little Richard.

My older DD's ringtone is Danger Zone from the Top Gun movie. I love that movie! The XH has "Warning! Bullshitter alert!"

My dd's nickname is Doodle, so hers is "Musical Doodle" from Spongebob. She doesn't like it, but I remind her that it could be the Krusty Krab Pizza song! Can you figure out what my son's favorite episodes are?

The only time I turn the sound on is when someone else has my kids (they're little). I don't talk on the phone so even if I heard it ring I wouldn't answer it and a text can be replied to whenever I see it.

I'd probably keep my phone on silent most of the time, but if I don't answer when SO calls, he immediately thinks I'm dead or dying (I have Type 1 diabetes). My DS gets home about 15-30 minutes before I do, so I like for him to call me to tell me he got home ok. Otherwise, I really don't answer the phone. I REALLY don't like talking on the phone.

My ringtone for my kids is Stewie's "mom, mom, mommy, momma, mom mom". They all roll their eyes when they hear it. I kinda only keep it to annoy them. I must admit it's sometimes embarrassing when they call and I'm out somewhere...

My son Daniel was named after the Elton John song. I picked that name out when I was in third grade! So, that song is my ringtone for him.

but my youngest is stewies mom mom mom mommy.. makes my laugh... That's what my 14 y/o wants my ringtone to be for him, but I just can't do it. I have Anchors Aweigh for the older Navy son. I need to pick something different for the younger one in the Navy. For my oldest son, I have no idea what I'd use. As others have said, we text WAY more than we call.

My older dd likes Lady Gaga and photography, so hers is "Paparazzi" by LG. My younger dd and I are HUGE Friends fans, so hers is the theme song from Friends. My dh is "Happy to be Stuck with You" by Huey Lewis & the News.

I use text tones for my kids, dd's is Happy (Pharrell), ds1's is the theme from Harry Potter and ds2's is the Star Wars theme. I do have a ringtone for them that is different than the default for those rare times they call.. DH's ringtone is Hello (Adele).

No. I actually always keep my phone on vibrate, so I don't even have any ringtones. Same for me. We can't have our phones ring at work and it would be a hassle to remember to turn it off every day so on vibrate it stays!

Just for texts - my kids never call my phone, so I just personalized the text tone.
I haven't found one I love for my oldest yet.
My middle DD I have the Hunger Games whistle.
And DS is a basketball bouncing and then hitting the backboard and swooshing in the net.
DH is the lightsaber turning on....

My boys don't have a cell phone yet, so no special ringtone for them. My daughter's "sound" is the "It's so fluffy!!!!" from Despicable Me (When Agnes [ ?] gets the stuffed animal at the carnival). It's SO her. LOL! My general ringtone is from The Muppets: "Ma-na-ma-na!" So fun! Besides, when my phone rings at school (work) my students love it and it's "safe"...totally 'G' rated!

Several phones ago I had Styx's Renegade for all of my calls. It was awesome to see people jump when the phone rang. Now every call is a barking dog, and sometimes I hear barking dogs and just answer the phone. I don't deserve technology.

Oldest DS - Three Little Birds / Bob Marley Youngest DS - Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now) / I have no idea who does that one and am too lazy to look.
I don't hear either one often since they mainly text.

I switch DS's back and forth between Star Wars and The Lion Sleeps Tonight (when he was about 4, he loved that song. We traveled 12 hours in the car on vacation and he either sang or hummed that song the entire time that he was awake, over and over and over and over...
