If there's a fashion capital, I live about the furthest from it.
My brother bought me a pair of Uggs for Christmas. I guess I should ask first off if these are still IN. Secondly, I'm not 19. I do see some younger peoples tucking their pants into their boots, but ya know...as I said, I'm not 19.
I have boot cut jeans. (still ok?) Is it ok to wear them over my UGGS?
Scarves: I often like wearing scarves. I try folding them in cute ways. Then I look at myself in the mirror and the TAG has jumped out in front. Do you all cut it out? How do you prevent this?
Crocs: Are these OUT? I have two pair that I like to wear in the summer and I haven't found something similar yet that I like as well. Suggestions? Are they out where you live?
DANSKO'S : just asking, are those OUT where you live. Just wondering. I don't have any but wondering. LOL

Uggs are still quite popular. I think most of the girls tuck their pants in. I don't like them. They are too oddly shaped, and just look bulky and misshapen. ha, but that's a personal choice. My dd has several pairs.
Scarves, love, still in fashion, yes I cut the tags off.
CROCS???!!! were NEVER in. I think it's ok to wear at work, like nurse crocs, and yes I know some people think they are comfortable. But if you are talking fashion, just NO.
I know nothing about Danskos?? like shoes? or work out?

Well I would say your brother is very generous! I would wear them. I wear Costco boots like that and love them. I do not tuck my pants into them.
Everything but the Crocs is in style that I am aware of.

I am a fashion zero. I went clothes shopping the other day and I think I am either totally out of the loop or most of the clothes I saw were just plain ugly (oh, or the third option of I wore it already in middle/high school.)
I had money to spend and couldn't find a thing. I ended up with a couple of classic crew neck type sweaters that I can wear mostly with jeans. It was very odd.

I would say Uggs aren't IN necessarily, but they are not out either. I wouldn't give anyone the side eye, if I saw someone wearing them LOL! I see them mostly on people leaving Yoga/Pilates. Your'e barefoot in there, so it's a good choice to slip on to stay warm. I think it would look weird to not tuck your pants into them though. You need to have on either skinny jeans or yoga tights/leggings on.
I don't typically cut out the tag on my scarves unless it is impossible to hide. I usually just tuck it in.
Crocs? Just no.
Danskos? Unless you have some foot problem, those aren't stylish at all. I do know a few people who wear them, but that's because they have plantar fasciitis or some other foot ailment.

Uggs are good.
Crocs? No. They were never in. Should be confined to gardening or dorm style shower situations.
Dansko - only if you have a serious foot problem and can't wear other shoes or work 12 hour nursing shifts.
Scarves are always nice. Yes, you should cut the tags off.

OP - I wear boots similar to UGG's and I tuck my jeans in.
Crocs are horrible, unless you are a nurse or a gardener.

Uggs remind me of indoor slippers and look horrendous when they've been wet/worn in snow. I wouldn't wear them under jeans they're going to look too bulky. I cut the tags off scarves. Crocs were never in, they are the ugliest shoes known to man and should never be worn in a situation where other people can see your feet. Are Danskos the clog type shoes? If so see above.

Uggs- I think they are ugly as heck and would never wear them but I do see lots of young girls in my area wearing them with skinny jeans tucked in.
Crocs- eww, never. They were never in and I cringe when I see them. Gross.
Scarves- perfectly fine!
Danskos- again, no. My grandma wore them.

Uggs, not a fan, but see plenty of high school girls wearing them.
Crocs...the original ones were never really in, they do have some cute flip flops and sandals. There are three Croc stores in Manhatten, including one on the trendy Soho area, so they can't be totally taboo. :-)
Danskos are pretty trendy still in the Seattle area, but we do a lot of functional fashion here. No kitten heels.

I am all of five feet tall and almost exclusively wear petites because the non-petites are designed for different proportions that don't fit me well. I was over in the 'big' mall (in Tampa they have a really nice mall) and almost every petite section was geared more towards an older clientele. I said something to my mom, who was with me, about them being 'grandma' clothes and she laughed-saying that she wouldn't be caught dead in elastic waist polyester pants with appliqued tops. And these were nice, fairly exclusive stores. I couldn't decide if it is just current fashion with what else is out there or if it is me trying to find my almost 50 year old self clothes in a world of junior fashions and old 'grandma' clothes. Seems like there wasn't much in between.

Riding boots are more popular here than Uggs, but like Smartypants said, Uggs aren't really in or out. I still see people wear them and it's almost always with pants tucked in.
I don't generally have an issue with scarf tags, but if it was going to bug me, I'd carefully cut it out.
Crocs--out. However, DD is in HS and says there's a movement starting among a large group of kids in her school to bring them back in. I'm pretty sure it's just a novelty thing since these kids all wore them when they were in elementary school when they were popular. I have an old beat up pair for yard work but they don't leave the house.
Danskos--I only ever saw my medical field friends and people with back/knee/foot issues wear these. I had knee issues last year and wore them and they helped a great deal and my pain went away this summer. This year they actually made the knee pain return, so they've been retired. I don't think I would have every bought these unless it was for the knee issue. I'd like cuter shoes in general, but my feet and knees have other plans for my footwear wardrobe!

Many of my teacher colleagues wear Danskos or similar. If they're out of style that hasn't gotten here yet! They're so good for my feet and so the fashion police can rip them off my cold dead feet, lol. I see uggs everywhere still. I usually see pants tucked into them.

They are expensive, but I buy a lot online during their sales/clearances.
I need professional and business casual clothes. I can't wear tunics and leggings to work!

Scarves are not really in where I live - Thank God, I got tired of seeing people looking like they had a snake wrapped around their necks! As for the other, wear whatever shoes you like. For that matter, wear scarves if you like. I personally think Uggs and the original Crocs are ugly as sin, but if I liked them, I would wear them no matter what anyone else thought.

I wear Danskos because I have fallen arches. They're clunky but they work. So out or in, I'm in.
I never liked Crocs and I still don't, but I think they are kinda out.
I cut the tags off my scarves. But then I'm left with a little strip of tag if I don't want to cut the stitching where it's attached.
I think Uggs or Ugg-like sheepskin boots are sort of a staple in many wardrobes and will always be fine.
Now
When you use a tissue, do you fold it in half before blowing your nose? And then do you fold it again and use it twice. I have a cold an am using a lot of tissues today, so I'm wondering.

Yes cut the tag out of your scarves!! That is a big 'do'
I prefer skinny jeans or leggings with uggs but wear them however you want.
Crocs are only in for gardening.

Uggs (or any kind of shorter boot), I usually see the pants tucked in.
Scarves, I just tuck the label in, but I'm not a fashionista.
Dansko, I like comfortable shoes like Dansko, Born, Clarks. Most of my shoes are several years old and I still get compliments when I wear them. Either I'm timeless or everyone I work with doesn't have any fashion sense. I'm hoping it is the former, lol.

Here are my answers, but fwiw, I live in Indiana, which is far from any fashion capitol. I am also an RN, so apparently I get a pass for my sensible shoes.
Uggs-in, jeans tucked in Crocs-out, even here in nowhere land Scarves-cut the tag out Danskos-in <--I have fallen in mine twice, notorious for ankle injuries, so I don't wear them much anymore

For me UGGS and Crocs are a purpose footwear. I don't garden and I'm not a doctor or nurse, so I don't have any Crocs I do have my Costco UGG style boots that I love for camping and the dog park. I want my feet warm and love that I can slip them on to take the dogs potty in the morning. Since I'm not out and about town in my boots it doesn't matter to me whether they are in or out, but I think I always tuck my pants into them when I put them on.

I still see Uggs on HS and younger girls here. I personally find them kind of clompy and awkward looking.
As people have said, Crocs are functional shoes for adults. The only people who look cute in them are 3 year olds. I personally use mine as slippers in the house because they're cushiony when I'm cooking etc.
I'm sure you'll get different answers about clogs depending on where people live and how crunchy they are. They may have a brief moment in the sun like Birkenstocks the past two years but they'll never be considered timelessly high fashion.

I think brightly colored wellies and Bogs are replacing the Uggs around here. I do still see them a lot though, so they aren't out. They just aren't super trendy anymore, which really is a good thing overall.
I take the tag out of a scarf if it's going to be a problem. I don't wear them much though because I have a short neck and a big, high chest. I feel like something is about to eat my face.
I love my Danskos. I think it's a style that's never going to be trendy, but they are fine and a quite popular for certain professions.

I live in a northern city with a major university, and all of the college girls are still wearing Uggs, so they are still IN around here. I have never, however, seen anyone wear pants or jeans OVER them -- of course, the college girls are generally wearing black tights/leggings which they pretend are pants (but, as we know, are NOT).
I didn't think one wore Crocs for fashion purposes. I have a pair I wear around the house and love, but I am not under any illusions that they are attractive.
I did the last big scarf go-round (late 80's? early 90's?) and I'm not doing this one, but I do see them everywhere.

Uggs...When I read the name I think of teenagers to mid-20's. I'm sure they're in style, but feel I'm too old for them. I would wear skinny jeans & tuck inside.
Scarves ... I think they're cute, but have no idea how to wear/tie them.
Crocs...I don't think they're ever in style!
Dansko's ...Sorry, no experience with them.

I live in the Great White North and someone will have to pry my Uggs out of my cold dead hands I looove them and see them everywhere here ... I do believe that you need to tuck your pants into them though ... No comment on the other shoes as I have never owned them ... I also don't wear scarves ... they make me claustrophobic

Yes, I look well, interesting in the Uggs. I have a huge foot and the size of the Ugg plus my huge hoof...wow. But they are SO WARM! Yes, very generous of my brother.
But my crocs...I know I will have to give them up this summer...for the record they are the Mary Jane type...not the Amusement Park Redneck. Probably not winning back any points there but I thought it might be worth a try.
Ok, off to cut out some tags. Thanks.

No, I wouldn't wear Uggs with bootcut jeans. Yes to cutting the tags off of scarves. Crocs - are we talking the clunky ones with holes? No, not in style. I've seen some really nice Croc flip flops though. Dansko - I like some of their summer styles ( these, for example) are cute, but I don't like the cloggish ones.

Most of the things I wear are for comfort and not fashion and I am ok with that.
I have arthritis and it can be bad in my feet. I also have weird arches and most shoes have arch support in the wrong spot for me. Barefoot for me is the most comfortable, but I need shoes to leave the house. So, I wear what keeps my feet from killing me - Crocs, Dansko or similar. Buying shoes is a pain (pun intended). I can spend hours in a shoe store trying to find something that won't cause me pain. That's why I usualkly stick to the old reliables.
I've never owned Uggs. They aren't comfortable for me.
I don't wear scarves. Things around my neck bug me.

I love crocs in the summer, so handy to slip on. Wouldn't know how to wear a scarf to be honest. Stick to what you feel good wearing, and what suits your lifestyle. I've found that I'm a 'jeans and tee' kind of girl, so that's what I spend my money on.
