I good friend of mine works at a jewelry store so she is always sending me their sales, clearance, etc. items to drool over. I'm overwhelmed how much rose gold there is out there now.
I also went to Charming Charlie over the weekend and saw a ton of it there. Not a fan, it looks brassy to me. I know some love it and will think I'm odd...but not a fan.

I don't like it at all. I think it looks cheap and tacky. But obviously that is a minority opinion!

No, I don't like it. I also don't like the chocolate diamonds that they advertise on tv.

I think it's pretty but I just don't know if I could actually buy something in rose gold. I have looked at the MK rose gold watch for several months and I just can't make myself buy it. I'm afraid I would get tired of it so I guess I am on the fence. ETA: My niece is looking at engagement rings and she's looking at a rose gold wedding set and I don't like that at all!

Probably because it doesn't look cheap and brassy to me.

I think it looks cheap. With regard to the chocolate diamonds, I think I read something a few years ago saying that they are very common and considered low quality, but the diamond industry advertising them as "chocolate" (ya know, instead of brown) and acting like they are of a phenomenal quality has worked on the buying public.

I love rose gold in moderation. My engagement ring is white gold and rose gold and I just love it. My wedding band is all white gold. The thing I don't like about it is that it is a finish and it does wear off. So when I take my ring in to have it checked, I do have them recoat the rose gold part with more as it wears away over time.
ETA: I hate the chocolate diamonds. I think they are ugly.

Rose gold is ok; but I don't own any. I call chocolate diamonds dirty diamonds-no thank you!

I'm not a fan of the way rose gold looks, but I'm not wearing any either, so no great shakes to me.

When I was in Jr. High/High School, I loved it, and hated yellow gold. Now, I still wear silver more often, but have started wearing yellow gold more. I don't like rose gold at all anymore.

My parents gave me a MK rose gold watch for my 40th last year - I picked it out earlier - and I LOVE it. When I put on my old silver watch it doesn't have the same presence anymore. I have olive skin and the rise good just really complements my skin tone.
A local Jewelry store recently had their after Xmas sale. My girls were given g/c for the holidays so I took them in and younger dd (7) picked a rose gold - plated - necklace that was super cute. Prompted me to try on a more substantial rose gold necklace that I fell in love with. Cute. It looked nicer on my skin tone compared to yellow gold. I wear a white gold necklace everyday, so this was nice variety.
I feel like white gold was in for many years and now two tone is becoming more popular. I want to have my white gold/diamond necklace reset for a variety of reasons and I've considered doing it in two tone, but with yellow gold, not rose gold. That might be too out there for me for a real piece of Jewlery (not more costume jewelry).

I don't like rose gold. I'm not a fan of regular gold but rose gold is the worst. I have one Aunt in law that is always trying to push rose gold on me because she loooooooooooooves it and wears an obscene amount of it and thinks that everyone else should too. She thinks the white gold I chose for my wedding rings is ugly. She hasn't said as much but she's made it plain that because she didn't choose it, it's not good enough. Meh. Don't care. She's ridiculous (just like rose gold... LOL).

Not a fan. I don't like yellow gold either. I've always loved white gold, silver, platinum etc.

I like it for my iPhone, but not for jewelry. But then, I'm not a fan of gold jewelry any way - platinum/silver/white gold for me.

I'm not a fan of rose gold for more classic investment pieces of jewelry as I do see it as faddish. But then, I still buy most of my "good" jewelry in yellow gold. It just suits my skin tone better. I will buy less expensive, more trendy pieces in rose gold or white gold.
I do not care at all for chocolate diamonds.
Nor do I like these new "motion" diamond settings that make the stone quiver. That's just weird looking.

I don't like it at all either. I have a few pieces from YEARS ago when it was "the thing." I didn't think it would ever make a comeback. I also have tons of yellow gold, and I no longer like it either. I only wear white gold now, and I even had my wedding set changed. Things just look SO much more beautiful in white gold IMO.
And don't get me started on chocolate diamonds. Yuck!

It was "in" back in the 80's I think and I didn't care for it then. Still don't. To me it just looks cheap and fake. I'm also not a fan of those 'chocolate' diamonds. Spotted them on a commercial the other night and they just didn't look good. But as with everything, to each his/her own!

I have a few things that I wear in rose gold. I wear it mostly in the summer because I am outside a lot and end up getting really tan (even with a ton of sunscreen.) The rose gold suits my skin tone when I am darker. I also wear a lot of ... I don't know what to call it? Art jewelry? The stuff you get at art fairs? ... in copper tones. Those redish/pinkish colors are good for me with a tan.

I don't like it at all. I was actually surprised my dd, 17, wanted the rose gold iPhone. We tried to talk her out of it thinking she'd get tired or bored with it, but she uses a clear glittery case and loves it.
I must live under a rock--I've never heard of chocolate diamonds. And, what is a MK watch? I'm obviously not big into jewelry, lol.

Wow! Really? I had no idea there was such a hatred for rose gold. I love it. I have lots of pieces and get lots of compliments on them. I also do a lot of my beaded designs in rose gold. Those pieces sell very well. The draw is it has the pink copper look but doesn't patina. I like rose gold over yellow or white.

I like it but I'm not a fan of jewelry in general. I wear a gold band for my wedding ring. A setting in mine broke and I don't want to bother getting it fixed. Gold looks better against my skin than platinum or silver.

I am not a fan, but I've seen a few pieces that are slightly pretty (MK watch for example). I doubt I will ever buy any rose gold jewelry. I do like the RG iPhone and the Erin Condren RG collection.

Actual rose gold is a gold/copper alloy and the pink shouldn't wear off over time. I like it for trendy pieces, but then most of my jewelry would be considered "cheap" by pea standards.

I don't mind it in moderation - I have a few pieces that are a mix of white, yellow and rose gold which I really like.
