I hate carrying change. I usually have no more than a few quarters in the change pocket of my wallet.
I toss most change I receive in the bottom of my handbag and dump it out very frequently...
Or I drop the change in the car (ashtray, console, weird little cubbie, wherever) and rarely think of it again.
So today I cleaned the change out of the car. It was so much I actually weighed it when I got inside. Two-and-a-half pounds of change! My husband joked that it was like I had hit my own little lottery in my car.

None in my car. I have had my window smashed before and they took my change.
Too bad they didn't knock on my door. I would have paid them $20 to not smash my window.

None - people around here get their cars broken into just for the change. There was even a segment about it on the local tv news.

None in my car. I have had my window smashed before and they took my change. Oh geeze. I lived in area like that for a while. I couldn't leave anything in my car... Now I don't even pull my keys and I leave my purse in it most of the time. Ah country living.

I'd say I have just a few dollars in change in my vehicle. I used to overload the little pop out drawer with coins until it became jammed one day.

I mostly have pennies in my car. They are in a little compartment with a cover I wouldn't want any to try to break into my car for less than a dollar in change. I use to keep more change in my car but once someone at the garage I use to take my car to for repairs stole all my change and a few CD's. Now I take everything someone might want to steal out of my car before it goes to the garage.

One quarter for Aldi.
That's it.

There are usually a few pennies in a "catch all" spot in the console but that is about all. There might be five of them there... They are mixed in with fortunes from my fortune cookies, my name badge for work and other misc odds and ends. Nickels and higher get tossed in my purse.

I used to have about $40 hidden in different places in my car. Mostly for emergencies (like losing the turnpike ticket and panicking that I didn't have enough money to pay the toll!
But now I have preteen/teens, so they are always needing money, so I never have any money!

Zero kept in the van, we've been broken into twice for small parking change (under two bucks), twice. It's not worth it. Which makes it hard to ever have change to park with as I don't ever have any on me.

That's the main reason I keep a few quarters. One for Aldi's and a few in case of a parking meter. I have always had change in my car but I'm pretty sure it's never been bothered at the repair shop or the car wash. I guess I've been lucky.

I keep around $10 to $20 in my car. Kids always seem to need cash for something or the other at school and I don't carry much cash in my purse.
I throw change into the bottom of my purse and when my daughter organizes my purse, she gets to keep it.

I VERY rarely spend cash, so I get very little change.

I have no idea how much at any given time, but usually just a buck, or two. It's in my cup holder, but you can't see it from outside.

I carry a plastic cup in the cup holder to collect change and take it in to the Coinstar when I buy groceries. I average about $13 every week.

I probably have a couple of bucks in coins in my console. I also like to keep a $5 note in my ashtray in case one of the kids needs money for lunch at school, or just for emergencies such as a parking meter or I need milk on the way home.

Quite a bit! I like it to be there for toll roads or if we're out and we need a water or something, and I can hit a machine somewhere. I keep a container of change in my glove compartment, but I also just dump it into my cup holders in the center console. Every so often my dad will notice that I have a large amount and will tell me to take that money in before someone decides it's enough to go after, LOL!

None. We don't have toll roads around here and I rarely use vending machines. All change goes in my purse and that gets cleaned out and put in the jar on my dresser.

Before or after I have stopped quick?
Before, the coin slots are filled.
After about a hundred pounds worth. Lol

Less than $1.
My friends heroin addicted son broke into my car in my driveway and stole my Rx sunglasses a large jar of quarters (we used for tolls) and my brand new GPS.

None. My car was broken into (2 windows) for less than $3, and a Simon and Garfunkel CD. I have an emergency $20 in my wallet, but I don't pay cash for anything. We don't have toll roads, and all the parking garages/meters, and most vending machines take credit cards.

I used to keep an emergency $20 in the car. I used it for a non-emergency. Now there is about $1.50 in change.
There is about $300 worth of summer shoes in the trunk. I haven't brought the bag into the house as I need somewhere to put all of them. (I kept them at the store for changing throughout the day). Yes, that stuff should come in the house soon.

Mostly it's coins for car parking so roughly £5 - £7 something like that...so maybe $7 - $10 or so. It's out of sight though.

I keep a tin with as many quarters as possible in it. It's in a compartment in the car. Our downtown area has parking meters galore.

I keep zero change in the car.
Your car will be broken into where I live if there is change visible.

I have a handful of coins at the bottom of the drink holder.
I keep a $5 bill hidden in a CD case. I've had to dip into this small emergency fund a couple times. If someone ever breaks into my car and steals my Mendelssohn Symphony N. 4 CD, they will be $5 richer!
