I'll be making a roast of some sort too. Probably burningfeather 's Italian Beef. It's our fave. We usually eat with spaghetti and sauce and some sort of bread. Mmmmmm!
I've never had Yorkshire Pudding ... I'm gonna have to google that! LOL

Everyone away on business or holiday tonight so just me - so just deciding what to have for dinner.....will probably be roast beef salad with yoghurt to follow for dessert. ETA: would rather have your roast beef and Yorkshire Puddings etc., though leannec! It's making my mouth water just thinking about it!

We're having a hodge podge snack day. I just made a batch of baked parmesan potato wedges, and now I have a loaf of bread in the oven that we are going to eat with herbed dipping oil. Guess I'll just think of a third carb to serve after that.

I have a cold and refuse to do much more than read today,so we'll be having take n bake pizza. Specifically, this one:
"Chicken Bacon Artichoke - Artisan Thin Crust, Creamy Garlic Sauce, Chicken, Bacon, Artichoke Hearts, Spinach, Parmesan, Zesty Herbs."
Our family loves this one - it has giant chunks of artichoke hearts. So tangy and delicious!

Italian CrockPot Chicken is crocking. It snowed this morning, which is perfect for this meal.

Thank you leannec for starting the thread. Can I have a Yorkshire pudding? Yumm. Last night was going to be takeout, but we made chicken panini instead. So, tonight is takeout from a new taqueria that opened up and has gigantic (as in enough to feed the entire family)burritos and fresh chips. If you haven't voted in the poll thread please do so. Tmw am our new name begins.

White Chicken Chili for the carnivores and Baked Potato Soup for me. It's cold and lightly snowy here today.
But I kind of want to be eating with @bitchy Rich instead.

Homemade Soup that DH made last week - the longer we have it the better it is. I'm wanting cheese and crackers to go with mine. He can have the leftover cornbread.

I have White Bean and Ham Soup in the crockpot. It smells good and I can't wait. I will make a pan of cornbread in the cast iron skillet to go along with it.

I found I wasn't planning menus because I had allowed all of my recipes to get so messed up. I hate when I get lazy like that. I've been just planning dinner at the last minute and I was spending way too much time searching for recipes. I finally couldn't take it any more and have spent the weekend organizing and cleaning up all of my dinner recipes. They're all nice and neat and re-filed now and I don't want to mess them up, so we're having... baked potatoes with toppings (chili, onions, cheese, etc.), fruit, bisquick biscuits, and texas sheet cake for dessert.

We finally dug out the turkey breast that I knew I had in the freezer, so that, with Stove Top for dh, leftover baked potatoes for ds and I, the last of the super pricey, but very good asparagus, and probably some corn.

I found pork butt on sale for $1.60/lb, so we are having pork BBQ sandwiches (it's in the crockpot), Cole slaw, baked beans and funeral potatoes! Hopefully will have enough leftovers for lunch and dinner tomorrow!

I'm actually going to cook ... meatloaf, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, peas.. and crescent rolls.. its became a rare thing for me to cook much less cook so much.. Ds 17 is super picky and I'm always worn out..Its just hard to spend the time cooking when you know no one will eat it but you, he will eat the mac and cheese and crescents though..

Plan A was meatloaf, scalloped potatoes for me, mashed potatoes for dh and a veggie or two. Then I decided I wanted the chicken fajitas that were posted. Dh still wants plan A and now I'm making both. All the prep work is done, chicken is marinating, meatloaf is in the fridge ready to bake, peppers and onions are sliced and potatoes are peeled. It's just a matter of putting the pieces together when we're ready!

Leftover sausage and polenta (I baked it in the oven and it was easy and delicious), more broccoli, and fruit salad.
Thanks for the thread. Got some new ideas!

It was supposed to be stew and cornbread but the roast isn't thawed. So, I'll shuffle the menu around and make the Pepperoni Bread that was supposed to be last nights dinner but got replaced with Chinese because of time issues. I hate it when my menu plays musical chairs!

Chicken chili.
Not sure over rice or pasta yet. I really dont want either and quinoa is too small
I ended up making tortolini to go under the chili. Doesn't match buts it's what I felt like having.

Chuck E. Cheese for a 7yo birthday party (DS's girlfriend's son ... I really have to go, whether I like it or not). To sweeten the deal, I will have to drive half an hour through rain to get there. Just shoot me now.
I think I will skip the crappy pizza and eat leftover pot roast when I get home.

My plan was to make Italian sausage stuffed zucchini & peppers, but DH took a lamb roast out of the freezer last night and decided to put it on the rotisserie this afternoon, so we are having lamb and ??.

A lot of football-watching going on in our house, so not much inclination to cook. I think I'll have some bean soup and cornbread from the freezer and DH is hankering for pizza so he'll run out and grab some at half time.

We are in the mood for breakfast. Will it be pancakes or eggs/potatoes/biscuits? I'll figure that out in the next hour.
