so neat! So can you just pick some off and leave the rest or do you have to pick them all at once? Once they are picked they won't grow new ones? Have you read anything about enoki mushrooms? I just had them a few weeks ago and really liked them.

Then, I will soak the block in water again, turn it around and cut an x in the other side and get another crop. I don't know about enoki mushrooms, but will see what I can find about growing them at home.

That's really interesting! I've never seen anything like that.
I do have this weird thing where anything in a cluster like that kind of squicks me out, though. I don't think I could have one of those in my house!

Seriously want to send my son to Wegmans (we don't have one here) for this.

It was so yummy! I made chicken breasts with an apricot bourbon sauce in the pressure cooker, white rice, and then I sautéed the mushrooms in butter, a pinch of salt and a dash of white wine. Needless to say, there wasn't a smidgen left!

Needless to say, there wasn't a smidgen left! That sounds like an absolutely delicious and fitting way to serve your bountiful harvest!

No Wegman's in this part of the US but, if I ever see one of these kits in my grocery store, I'm definitely picking one up!
