So it has been snowing here since about 1 a.m. We are now getting a mix of sleet. Ick! It is then supposed to turn back to snow. Anyway, my two rough collie puppies have never been in snow. They LOVE it. We have played and played outside all morning. Thankfully they are napping now. Anyway, the first photo is off of my deck which I have shoveled twice so the dogs can get down the 15 steps to the backyard. The second photo you can see them running by. They are a blur. LOL! Share your snowy photos if you have them!

Very pretty pics but I can imagine it will become a problem if you get much more snow!

Very pretty pics but I can imagine it will become a problem if you get much more snow! I was listening to our news earlier Barbara and they say they are expecting 24 - 30 inches to arrive in the next day or so on the East coast!!! I really can't get my head round having 30 inches of snow falling Keep safe everyone.

We typically get very little snow here and it's usually every couple of years

Just getting started, I hope it keeps going. It's been 20 years since we've been really, truly snowed in!

We were supposed to go to my ILs cabin 2 weeks ago. It got snowed in. Their neighbor told us stay away. Last time we talked it was 18" and was going to snow for 30 more hours. But, it was snowing less in another town, so we went up to play. We like novelty snow. You don't have to shovel it or drive in it. You just get to play in it and leave it there! My son ADORES the snow.

A few new houses, but I moved here because it reminded me of my grandparents little town <3

we got about 4" here yesterday and it's still coming (lightly, but it's still snowing)! Here's my cutie-patootie yesterday. He's pumped to play out there again, this time with DH who's much more fun in the snow than mommy. Lol!

Oh, I have a snow photo too...
OK, so maybe it wasn't actually taken in Australia in the middle of summer...
Last weekend was my mother's birthday and we went for a picnic and walk around the lake, when I got home I sent this photo to her brother:
and in reply he sent me the snow photo above - taken in Hannover Germany through his front window. Mind you by the end of the 5km around the lake walk in 32deg C (89F) heat, I think Mum would have preferred to be with her brother!

I'm sorry, I'm sitting here looking at these & thinking "thats all you've got??" - but I know that these areas aren't used to snow & this is a lot there. We haven't gotten that much this year either so far (knock wood it stays that way!!!)
