I'm at the top of the Chesapeake Bay and the wind has died down a little bit. Still snowing but not hard. It's impossible to tell how much we've got because it's all drifted (I live out in the country).
Thankfully the power hasn't gone out!! Hope I didn't just jinx myself...

I'm in Pa and I don't want to talk about it. Let's just say we have way to much and it isn't stopping any time soon.

DE here, close to a foot and still coming down. We had wind last night but no where near the 40+mph winds they were calling for. Right now I'm just trying to keep a small area cleared for the dogs. I opened the back door while it was still dark this morning and I lost one in a drift.LOL. Poor things, they were having a fit waiting for me to get some clothes on and clear a path.

I'm just northwest of DC and we've got two feet or more and it's still coming. I just did some digging to try to keep it from being an overwhelming task. It's just like that first crazy snowmageddon we had back in what was it, 2010? I can't get over how much snow there is.

DH is out with the snowblower, trying to stay on top of it. It's not terrible right now, but it's also picked up quite a bit with the winds and the amount of snow falling, so I guess it will be pretty significant by the time it stops.
I'm in SEPA, Philly burbs

Northeast Pa here and I can't see parked cars anymore because there're covered in snow 100%. DH is working and he is having issues getting to calls. It's crazy.

Blacksburg VA here and we have about a foot. Not sure how much more we are going to be getting. It looks like we will be stuck inside until at least Monday.

Another in Pa. It's awful. Our vehicle is covered...at the moment it's a vaguely Navigator-shaped snow mound. (Sigh) It might be time to move...to St.Barth's or Key West or....

I'm in eastern Long Island New York. We have about 12" so far and still have about 12 hours to go. Just finished our first round of snowblowing and shoveling. Now the beef stew cooking & brownies in the oven. Need a treat after all that hard work.

I am in Brooklyn, NY, we have shoveled three times so far and it does not look like it wants to stop. Buses stopped running at noon and now a ban on cars starts at 2:30. What a mess and the news just said snow until 11pm1

Eastern PA. I was just out walking my snow obsessed dog who is in his element today tunneling through snow up to his neck and loving every minute. He'd prefer to spend all day outside. Me not as much. Just finished shoveling for now. It's up to my knees so far. Very wet and heavy. Now sounds like freezing rain hitting the skylights. My teens are out building snow forts and lobbing snowballs at each other. Wind is ferocious. Stay safe everyone

Most of the snow from yesterday got washed away by the sleet that rained down all night. Today it is icy rain and what snow is left is blanketed in an icy sheet.

Northwest NJ here. About 10" so far and it's supposed to snow thru the nite. Men in my life are about to go outside and make their first dent. Princess will be staying inside.
Hang in there, SnowPeas!

Maryland Pea here. We had 18 inches at 8 am and it has continued to snow and blow. It's expected to continue snowing until tonight. They say we will get another foot of snow. My dh made an initial pass with the snowblower. We dug out little path on the grass for our dog to use. He is refusing to go out in it and keeps coming back under our deck area which is paved.

We went from a forecast of 8" or less last night at 4:30 to a forecast of up to 30" from our county's OEM.
I've gone out to snowblow and you can't really tell. Well go out once more around 3:30 or 4
We are getting hammered

Northern Virginia here. It's hard to tell how much we have-I'm guessing close to 30 inches right now. It's not supposed to stop until tonight. The dog is the only one who loves it. She out there now with DH, who is trying to clear a path around the vehicles. The wind is howling-I'm not sure it will do much.
We couldn't let the dog out this morning, as the back door was blocked with snow. DH took her out the front door where the step was almost scrubbed clean. I'll put a picture up later. It looks a lot like MDscrapaholic's photo!

We are just outside DC and have 17". The wind has made some decent drifts so it does look like a lot more. Thankfully still have power!

I'm also in SE Pa, about 40 miles west of Philly in Chester County. It's crazy how much snow is out there! The kids were out for awhile. DH and I cleared off the car. We live a in a townhouse community and they do snow removal in the parking areas and the sidewalks. We help keep up on it during the day so we can get out to the car and get it cleaned off periodically. For the most, I'm staying in doors, but I like to go out with the kids for a little while. Our accumulation predictions are now up to 30 inches. That's a LOT of snow!

Central Maryland, 20 min north of DC. We have lots of snow. It's hard to tell how much snow exactly because of the drifting, but a good avarage would be 20+ inches. It's supposed to snow through 11pm, with several more heavy bands coming through. Shoveling and being outside is miserable because of the low temps with the winds averaging 20 mph, with frequent gusts around 40 mph. Brrrrrrrrrr...

MD here and it's still coming down like crazy. As soon as I shovel, the wind or city plows undo my work. I need to check on the lady next door. Haven't seen her let her dog out.
In then meantime, I am attempting to make my own hamburgers buns and working in a puzzle.

NoVA here, just a few miles south of DC. We have 18-20 inches and still snowing heavily. Winds making it drift so it's hard to measure. We can't get out our front door, cars are about halfway buried in the driveway (no garage ). BUT - we still have power, and our street has been plowed multiple times! They have to do them in pretty much a continuous rotation to keep up with it. Snowplow came through 2-3 times overnight too.

10 miles north of Boston- light flurries have started but no accumulation and less than an inch expected. Need to check in with my NYC niece to make sure she is warm and safe!

I am in PA, in the corner where Lehigh, Montgomery and Bucks counties meet. We have about 18 inches so far and several hours to go. I have a nice beef stew in the crockpot and I have been making some cards and doing laundry today.
