I saw this on the news yesterday. Too funny and the updates are even more amusing that the owner says this is dog is generally a lazy dog (I don't remember the exact word she used at the moment). I guess they just needed to find what interested the dog. I hope they do rename the race in Ludivine's honor. Most importantly, thank goodness he found the race and was not injured after he escaped his yard. Definitely a make yoyu smile kind of story.

What a good dog! Love the idea of renaming it the Hounddog Half with a special medal for 7th place. This will be part of the race's history. One of the cutest stories I've seen in a while.

They have renamed the race the Hound Dog Half. It is already set for 2017. I would love it if they used her likeness on the finishers' medals. Some of the other pics of this pup on the race are super cute!!
On another note....the son of one of the docs I work with set a world record as an 8 year old runner in this race. How cool is that too?
