You are not alone! I have a drawerful and I mentally inventoried it and was grateful I have it. Wait- I have more than a drawerful, I have a bunch of the BG-designed and packed kits (including a card kit and a Christmas ornament kit) from years ago, filed separately. I will run my fingers through it all this weekend.

It's funny, I have a whole pack of the cute snowman paper from Figgy Pudding. I think it was for my Christmas cards one year.

My last scrappy purchases were also BG, I picked up a couple of collection packs that I missed - Persimmon and Spice Market. Now I need to see if there is anything else I still want, before it disappears completely. |

I pulled out what little I have left too – some Blitzen, Figgy Pudding, Skate Park and others that are just large scraps. I can picture the BG rack at my LSS, and remember how beautiful all of the paper lines were, with a giant sticker sheet to match. That snowman paper was the only line that I had ever bought multiple sheets of at the time, and it seemed like such a splurge.

The hallowe'en line I bought in multiples: Eerie. Another favourite: Periphery. I like to mix the 6 inch papers from the little pads into my layouts as I get to see the prints better, somehow. Wasn't BG the first manu to make these simultaneously available? |

Ah. Blitzen. One of my all-time favorite lines! I still have an itty bitty bit of it left. Now I'll probably hoard it.
I pulled out some Herbs & Honey last night. There's a strawberry paper in that collection that I really want to use for some fruit picking photos.

I didn't intentionally pull out my BG but as I was looking for something else, I came across some of my stash and had to slowly look at it and enjoy it! It's always been one of my favs! How I will miss them!

Indian Summer, love, love, love the colors. Bought as much of that as I could find and I'm still hoarding it.
Periphery, bought it for an album I never made. Now I'm not sure what to do with it.
As I posted on the other thread, I am sooooo going to miss their card kits. I LOVED them and now I regret selling the few that I had when I was trying to be "good" and destash. See? It is better to be a SB hoarder, lol.

I was looking at the album I made for my grandma's 90th birthday that we later used for her funeral. Stella Ruby looked amazing with the old black and whites. I have quite a supply of the old Basic Grey lines. I plan to use some of Recess in my daughters kindergarten album.

a few days ago my sister called me and wanted to know if I had SB paper she can have. is the sun hot? of course I have paper! tons of it and lots of it is Basic Grey. lately I had been wondering if I should purge my BG because I hoarded so much of the collections that I liked---Urban Couture, Lollipop, Stella Ruby, etc.
fast forward to yesterday when I read that the company is belly upping. I couldn't help but go home and leaf through my collections again. all of a sudden I'm not so quick to get rid of them. my sister will have to just go through my other paper. LOL |

I used a bit of Figgy Pudding in my December Daily album. It worked quite well with some of Shimelle's Christmas line. I fondled my collection last night too.  |

Oh boy, I still have a ton, thank goodness. I had 27 paper collections. Some there is little left but others still quite a bit. One of my favorites was Color Me Silly and of course Lime Rickey, with little left of either.
So sad to see them go. I've collected a lot of paper in my day, but I collected more Basic Grey than anything else, by far.

I have tons of it - with matching Bazzill card stock. All thanks to Embellish It! I remember checking out Basic Grey booth at a CK convention. A friend bought a lot of it.
It will be taken out this weekend. I know I have Lollipop shop - used it for my DD's baby album.

Stella Ruby looked amazing with the old black and whites. I used this for photos of my grandmother who was an avid sewer. I only have a couple of tiny scraps left but I loved that line. I have a few pieces from older lines still waiting for me to use them but nowhere near as much as I used to have. I've been working on using up some of my older papers and have put a few of my favourite BG pieces into albums in the last few months. |

figgy pudding..one of my fave Xmas lines ever, lime ricky, lily-kate, skate park, mortifica , ambrosia, infuse, periphery, obscure, nook and pantry stella ruby, scarletts letter...Hmmmmm. I'm sensing a theme here. I LOVE basic grey...sniff...!!!!
I don't have whole lines except stella ruby and scarletts letter left but I sure do have some sheets in my hoard,I mean stash!!
