How about a mood board challenge? 
This mood board is from The Light Up North and can be found here.
All types of projects count (paper, digi, hybrid, PL, art journaling, anything else you create) and if you share your projects online please link them here so we can admire and leave some love. You can find instructions to post in the Refupeasgallery in this thread but shout out if you need help.

Those are some really pretty colors! I never think to mix navy with the orangy/reds. I will definitely make a layout based on this mood board, probably not until the weekend though.

Here is my layout! When I first got the paper and pictures down, I HATED it. After embellishing it, my layout and I have become better friends. I think I started it all wrong with the placement of the pictures, that's where my struggles started. I would welcome any and all feedback! I really haven't done all that many layouts in my life, and I just came back to it after about a 5 year break so I am trying to find a rhythm still.  |

scrappyoutlaw I really like this page and think you've done a beautiful job. I love the deep blue and how the little splashes of orange pull your eyes around the photos.

I saw your post of this first on Instagram and thought "what a pro, love the papers!" I like it a lot. It's perfect for the mood board inspiration. You did a great job using papers that go together but aren't matchy-matchy, and it's a nice layout for several pictures. |

Thank you so much everyone! Matching patterned paper is something I am trying to improve on, it's a stressful step for me.  It was fun to make, I took one look at the pictures and immediately thought of this mood board! |

bklyngal62 I love how you've made the warm oranges and reds the dominant colours on your page - I hadn't considered that when I picked the mood board but I love how they look here. The crab die cut is adorable and I love the little touches of navy. I'm really enjoying your cruise album pages, thanks for sharing them.

scrappyoutlaw I love your layout. The only suggestion I could possibly make, is sometimes I would have angled the photo on the left a little bit, overlapping the photos. But, I think your layout is perfect as it!

Just got here today, trying to maneuver around the MB.
Love the mood board. So many places it can take you, from colors to design, to photo subjects. I have a few days to play with paper before going back to work, so might just take this one on.
The responses to it are wonderful as well. Love that the first seems inspired by the overall design, with a little subtle color, while the second takes on the color challenge whole heartedly.

Hoping to get to play along, but the month is already 1/2 over and I still can't see my craft desk..... scrappyoutlaw, your layout just warmed me up on this very cold, snowy day. Great use of the mood board and a Fantastic Layout! bklyngal62, gorgeous layout. Loving the color combos and your lighthouse cluster.

bklyngal62, I love the colors in your layout. We just returned from Hawaii and I can see some ideas for using those colors with the sunsets. Beautifully scrapped. That ship is amazing.

I watch a lot of videos, and if you aren't quite fully happy with it yet, you might like adding more embellishments in clusters. On YouTube, you can watch Shimelle or NicoleJones911 to see how much stuff can be added in a controlled way to finish off a layout. I find I'll be watching along, not really liking the layout until they add something here, here, and there and BAM! suddenly I like it. If you aren't happy yet, you might follow their lead - but only if you don't feel done yet. There's nothing wrong with it as it is. I like it. |

I was able to create some things at the SB Expo this weekend... I love how you've picked up on so many of the colours in the mood board - I mostly saw the blues when I picked it so it's nice to get a fresh perspective on it. I love the photos of your dog, they're all adorable but I really like the one with him reaching out for his cake. |

KikiPea, I love your layouts. I love the colors you chose from the mood board. Those triangles on the first one are so cool. I am always afraid to try big triangles. You are inspiring me. I love the layering on your other pages. So neatly done and so pretty and balanced. You did a fabulous job!
