Today is infusion day in the big city, so dinner will hopefully be soup from the Chinese restaurant that dh picks up for everyone.
What's on your menu?
Have a great day and if you haven't been enjoying yourself lately, take some time at some point to do something fun, even if it's just for 1/2 an hour.

Tonight is one of the few nights I don't have to work at my second job, so it's cooking night. Going to throw a spiral ham in the oven and hope to boil up some sweet potatoes so I can candy them while the ham is heating up. Not sure what else we will have with it. Mashed potatoes (yeah I know two potatoes but who can decide if only one kind!). Some other veggie like peas or broccoli etc. This way I'll have leftovers for tomorrow when it's back to working both jobs.

Classic sausage and peppers. It's just me & DS and he likes sausage. It's also easy.

Second night in a row I don't have to cook. Tonight is our monthly club meeting and it's at a Chinese place. DH hates chinese food so I'm going alone and he can make or order pizza.

Dh said he wants a "good salad" tonight ... WTH does that mean? As opposed to a bad salad Cooking for my family is such an adventure Anyway, I'm going to make some baked chicken breasts and whip up a tossed salad of baby lettuces, grape tomatoes, cucumber, sweet peppers and green onion ... I'll just give the dd's some celery and broccoli because they won't want the salad

I'm thinking it's a meatloaf and mash potato kind of night. I'll add a side of whatever frozen veg I have too.

Wednesday is yoga night so I typically eat fruit and yogurt before I head out. DH is a good sport about fending for himself. Looking forward to yoga because my back is all kind of jacked up today.

I'm heading to the seafood market and picking up sea scallops and shrimp. Not sure what the sides will be yet.

Today it's bitterly cold, OK, cold for CA standards so we're having comfort food, Shepherds pie (the beef kind not the lamb kind) with brussel sprouts.

I'm having what leannec is having. I'm sautéing a chicken breast, then serving it on a salad mixed with cucumber, feta, olives and tomatoes. DH loved the cabbage steaks, so a big thanks to whomever posted that recipe.

Baked tilapia covered with pesto & parmesan, rice pilaf and whatever fresh vegetable looks the least crappy when I go to Sprouts later today. I am so ready for summer & pretty veggies

I'm going to a dinner for an organization I'm involved with tonight. So, probably rubber chicken, sweetened with a cocktail, just one, I'm driving.

It's just my sons and I tonight. The boys are going to prepare their own meals. Should be interesting! I'm already imagining them serving up waffles, fries and chicken nuggets. I'm going to have a chef salad. They've also got chocolate/peanut butter chip cookies for dessert.

Thanks for the thread.

We have to leave here for a soccer game at 4:30. Originally we were supposed to have breaded & baked chicken tenders, oven roasted broccoli, cauliflower and peas...but then I realized that it would just be a pain to make the veggies. So I already made the chicken and I got stuff ready for a salad. It'll be easy and quick!

Having breakfast for dinner. Eggs, bacon and hash browns. I really need to clean up my dresser, get the shirts organized again, so this will be an easy meal to get together.

Another (almost) breakfast for dinner here. I've been on my feet at work all day and need something easy so it's eggs, bacon and French fries.

I'm making potato soup and I have French bread baking in the bread machine for paninis for the kids and DH. I'll have a salad with mine.
Happy Hump Day! Though, can't believe it's only Wed., this week is dragging!

Busy day today, so we just grabbed whatever we could find in the fridge. I had leftover soup, DS and DD leftover spaghetti bolognese. Raspberries and custard for dessert (at least that was yummy). I think there are some chocolate cupcakes in the freezer somewhere....Hope so, because I NEED cupcakes....or cake.....or chocolate! (Yes, it's that time of the month).

Nothing? I'm officially sick. Head is aching like crazy, body hurts, I am miserable.
I went to dd's and sat in the kitchen while instructing her to make ziti with chicken and broccoli. I didn't go near the baby at all.
I'm not hungry.

Oh, KelleeM, it's not fair for you to be sick this week! Put that off until next week! I sure hope this is just a weather change, and you'll be back to holding the DGD by tonight.
