Ask her How many championships does Dan Marino have? and How many Oscars does Alec Baldwin have?

So, what does she say? (I don't have one to ask)

Alexa says "Dan Marino has won zero Super Bowls, isn't that right Dan?" Then Dan Marino responds: "Sure... But no other quarterback has more passing yards on Monday nights, no other quarterback has more completions on Monday nights, no other quarterback has more touchdown passes on Monday nights"
Alec Baldwin has won... "Alexa stop"...Alex is that you? I can stop, but you have still won zero Oscars

I saw the commercial but I didn't think to ask Alexa the same questions. I'm going to ask again tomorrow and see if she gives the same reply.

I'll have to do that.
Can I just say that I love my Echo almost as much as I love my children? We use it ALL.THE.TIME.

The Echo is an Amazon product and her name is Alexa. Like...Siri, but for inside your house, sort of?

I'll have to do that. Can I just say that I love my Echo almost as much as I love my children? We use it ALL.THE.TIME. I got one for Christmas, and I have yet to plug it in. I really need to do that! I finally took it out of the box last week. It's a start. What are you favorite features? I just wasn't sure how much I would use it....

I use it as a radio: "Alexa, play WNYC (my local NPR station.)" "Alexa, play the Hamilton soundtrack" (which kills me because it's the cast recording and not the soundtrack, but Alexa only understands it as soundtrack.) All of our grocery lists are put on the Echo - whenever we need anything my kids say: "Alexa, put Cheerios (or whatever) on the shopping list" and it shows up on my phone on the App. I use her as a cooking timer; to get the time; to set an alarm; for sports scores; for instant news and weather. I know people turn their lights on and off with her (we haven't done that yet.) They have so many different tasks she can do that we haven't even discovered yet.

Ours still gives the funny answers, but I asked it "Alexa, how many championships has Dan Marino won?" And also "Alexa, how many Oscars has Alec Baldwin won?"
I don't know if the slightly different wording has anything to do with it.

I wonder what the difference is?

*KAS*, yes, that I knew--I just wanted to get Siri's answer to the same questions, but she just wanted to pull up Wikipedia for me! Silly Siri.

We use it all the time. I love the shopping list and the to do feature. I use it for weather and phone and Pandora, Amazon prime music, etc. So awesome.
