I have Reynauds. Once my hands and feet get cold, it's serious pain.

Yup, I know your pain. Hot showers or baths work for me. Hope you can get warm soon! I was going to say the same thing. Sometimes I am so cold, only a hot shower will warm me up.

Yes. The last blizzard we got here, I was so cold that I was shaking for over an hour. I finally got into a warm shower and fainted.
That is why I don't shovel any more unless it's clear that it will take less than 15 minutes.

24 degrees? That would be considered a heatwave here. The postman would be wearing shorts and neighbours would be barbecuing! Pretty sure the OP is talking Fahrenheit, which is about -5 to us. Definitely not a heatwave! Oh! Haha! But come to think of it, -5 would be pretty good for Sheffield!

Definitely not a heatwave! Yes, thats 24 F, I forget some of you are on celcius. 24F isn't really THAT bad which is why I was commenting on my bone-chilling cold. The coldest it gets around here on a regular basis is probably 0. Rarely get into the negatives.
