I really don't want to go outside. It's 9 degrees! It's suppose to get even colder tomorrow and Sunday.
I think we got spoiled by the mild winter we have been having because honestly it's normal to get such low temperatures around here in the winter but I am really not liking it more than usual this year.
What is the weather like where you are?

Our Winter has been VERY mild. It's basically been Fall since October. I seriously doubt we will see super cold temps (It's in the 70's/80's right now), but we DID get snow in March last year...I just don't see that happening. Allergens and bugs have been/will be awful this year if we don't get one good, hard freeze soon. Lots of people are sick right now, due to temp swings, and allergies. Not looking forward to that.

Ugh, was 5 degrees when I got in the car this morning at 7. Think we're up to around 9 now. Sunday is supposed to be highs in the teens. I'm over it! Just took the dogs out and slipped on what remains of the packed down snow in that area. Can it be spring yet?!!

It was -8 with windchill of -13 a little bit ago. It is supposed to be warming up to double digits today though. But tomorrow it isn't supposed to get much above 0 and tomorrow night it supposed to get to down to -teens with wind chills between -20 and -50. I will be so happy to have my car starter and heated seats tomorrow night when I am done working. I agree that with the warm winter so far my body is definitely not acclimated to this frigid blast.

It's cold but sunny, we haven't had many sunny days this Winter! We've been down your way a few times recently and had grey skies and pouring rain - along with gale force winds! - every time. Still enjoyed the shopping though, even when getting soaked outside. Its been fairly dry in my part of England this Winter except for a few memorable heavy rainstorms and has been much milder than usual. At the moment the sun is out, it's 6C (about 42F) and it feels like a Spring day out of the wind. It's been a weird Winter weatherwise!

It's gorgeous. It's going to be sunny and close to 70 today. It's supposed to be even warmer next week.
We're having a big Valentin's party outside today.
We skipped winter this year. It hasn't gotten cold here at all.

It's not been as cold this winter compared to last year. It's snowing now but is supposed to warm to the 40's later today but really cold again the weekend and snow again next week.

It's -20F below here right now. UGH. Hate it. Suppose to get colder tonight, and then warm up. Trouble is, we are leaving the house to my oldest dd to take care of. Hope she doesn't freeze up the pipes. ha

It's supposed to be single digits tomorrow and -14 wind chill. We have had such cold winters lately! This year we had a decent fall and a few warm winter days, but it's just been so cold. The kids had more 2 hr. delays/school closings the past few years because of extreme cold, not snow. We haven't had much snow.

Here in northern Maryland it's 15 degrees @ just before 10am. High today is forecasted to be 25...19 tomorrow and 16 on Sunday. In years past, I could avoid going outside for the most part. Since getting our horses in 2009, I *have* to go out several times a day. Now, I don't stay out there with them terribly long! Thank goodness for heated water tanks and water buckets. And for quilt lined overalls, insulated boots and insulated waterproof gloves.

Yes, it's cold here today. Saturday night and Sunday we're going to have wind chills in the -20 range which is unusual even for winter in Connecticut. I can't really complain because it's been so unusually warm and dry this winter. Usually by this time, I'm spending a lot of time thinking about going somewhere warm, but I've only had my snowshoes on 4 times so far.

Yeah we've had a lot of rain and wind! Did you visit the Trinity shopping centre? I'm still not sure what I think of it!

It is so damn cold and snowing and windy and I am over it! I need to go to the grocery, as it's supposed to be -10 tomorrow and we will have our great grandson, so I don't want to have to take him out.

Yeah we've had a lot of rain and wind! Did you visit the Trinity shopping centre? I'm still not sure what I think of it! I like the Trinity Centre. Our trips down there are usually business based in some way and I tag along just for the couple of days away so I enjoy looking round Trinity to see what you have down there. We have a couple of similar shopping malls in Newcastle and just outside but I love to have a mooch around Kiko, Skechers and Primark in Trinity because they usually have a few different things to the stores up here. Also like to wander around the Victoria Quarter to see what's on offer - though we have always to go into the Charbonnel et Walker shop for a fix of our favourite but very expensive violet and rose cream chocolates! I use the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish so pop into the shop there.....we can get it up here but it's in a department store and it's nice to go into an actual shop from time to time. Think this is the first Winter that we've had so much heavy rain and wind when we've been down there though.

I really should go out NOW to go to the grocery store before the arctic blast comes in but I am not feeling it.
We, too, have been spoiled by mild temperatures and less snow.

I went grocery shopping this morning, and on the way home my car thermometer said 17. It is pretty darn chilly out there.
We haven't really had much of a winter though, so I won't complain too much.

I have a four-day weekend, but had an early appointment this morning. It was cold, windy and blowing snow around when I was first out. Had breakfast out and ran errands after my appointment and felt that bitter cold. It's still cold and windy but the sun is out now, and I'm home and sitting in the living room where I can bask in the sunlight.
