I've been coloring my hair for the last 30 odd years and I just noticed yesterday that my eyebrows are getting grey. YIKES!!!!
What should I do?

Not yet, but getting that way. The last time I got my hair colored, my stylist recommended a brow kit from Ulta, that came with several colors you could blend but I forget which one she said. Maybe someone else can recommend a specific one.

You can get eyebrow gel.. It comes with a wand like mascara and brush the color through the eyebrows... Much better than an eyebrow pencil

I've plucked the odd grey one but you can have them tinted pretty easily.

No, thank god. The hair on my head is mostly grey now (WAY TOO SOON and thank god for good hair color), but so far the grey has not spread anywhere else.
What I have noticed, though, is some thinning of my brows as I age and it sucks. I have to fill them every day now. I use a variety of things depending on the look I want, but for everyday, I use Gimme Brow by benefit. Quick and easy to apply and I bet it would also take care of grey.

Odd white/grey hairs that I pluck... I'd actually wondered if they were going to take over completely at some point

I have been using Just For Men hair color for about a year and a half now and it works great. I only use a pea size of the color and the same amount of the developer, mix it up, and apply with a Q-tip. I only leave it on for a few minutes before washing it off. I know the developer will eventually stop working but so far I have only had to buy one box. I use the light brown.

Eyebrow pencil works wonders. Very lightly.

But as a brunette, they are definitely much lighter than they used to be and I have been using a brow pencil for a few years. I'll try the gel. Thanks!

Not grey, but white. And only a few at the moment. But those few are in an area that I can't pluck without leaving a hole right in the middle. And it's not just brows either but eyelashes too. Bright white eyelashes.

Yes. I'm beyond being able to pull the stray ones and have been using a brow gel for a while now.

I stopped colouring my hair when I turned 50 and found that I was totally white/grey haired. But my eyebrows are still black.
I do have some white eye lashes which looks kind of weird- sort of a zebra look. I cannot do anything about it not even mascara because of allergies.

I have stray ones here and there, but mostly my brows are just thinning. I find a powder and small angled brush work best to fill them in a bit. Let's not talk about the other places my hair has started to gray.

I've not noticed gray eyebrows..... just disappearing ones. At Christmas my mom told me I needed to stop plucking my eyebrows so much. I have NEVER plucked them! But I guess I need to start drawing them on....

Let's not talk about the other places my hair has started to gray. I'd say that is a bigger shock than the rest...no one tells you that your punani hair turns grey. And thinner.

I found one white one and plucked it. But in the past I've had my eyebrows dyed, and if I start finding more, I'll just dye them. I already draw them in because they're not very full.
I haven't seen any snow in the valley yet, but I'll take some thinning any day.

I use Anastesia (sp?) gel; it's like mascara for your eyebrows.
Unfortunately I used to pluck mine thin back in the olden days so some just eventually just stopped growing back.
I like the gel more than the pencil; looks more natural.

I'm older than most of you (obviously) and my eyebrows are as gray as the hair on my head. But, what's worse, is the change in texture of my eyebrows. I've got a bunch of stupid hairs that stick out and down. They're awful and I've tried different methods to tame them and nothing works. Ugh. So unattractive. My eyelashes haven't turned gray but they're now short and sparse whereas they used to be long and thick. Some days it's hard not to miss my younger slimmer, brunette self!

I dye mine. I bought the eyebrow dye (Godefroy) off of amazon, it is easy to use, and looks good (I think).

Mine are white and if I follow my mother will thin to about nothing and then look clear. Like little bits of clear plastic bristles.
I want my double row of eyelashes back. I miss them

I've been coloring my hair for the last 30 odd years and I just noticed yesterday that my eyebrows are getting grey. YIKES!!!! last time I was at the hairdresser the lady next to me was having her grey roots done for her medium brown colored hair, after the hairdresser had finished with her hair, he gave her some Q-tips and the leftover bowl of dye and she painted it on to her eyebrows herself. Then she wiped it off with some wet cotton balls before he washed her hair. I thought that was smart thinking.

I recently found a grand total of about 3 gray eyebrow hairs, so I just plucked them, but obviously I can't go on like that forever, so eventually I'll look into coloring them.
The funny thing is that my actual hair (on my head) is very gray in the front, barely gray at all in the back, and yet it's those darn 3 eyebrow hairs that I saw and thought "Oh, no freaking way! You're outta here!". I leave the gray hair on my head be and don't mind it at all.

I thought everyone who colored their hair did this.

That! I never plucked the tail, just strays. My brows keep getting shorter. I sweat for an hour on the elliptical and swim for an hour every day and I was so tired of penciling. Last summer I got permanent brows - one of the best things I've ever done!! I'm told often that I have perfect brows with no maintenance other than plucking the stray ones.

Yes and they only seem to appear right in the middle, so plucking them would be too obvious. Curious to try one of the brow gels-- which ones do you all like? idahomom -- your brows look awesome!
