No clue who posted this back on 2Peas, but whoever it was, THANK YOU.
Who knew the best and also fastest way to clean your windows/mirrors/stainless steel appliances was with a damp micro-fiber cloth???
In less than 45 mins I just did all the windows at the back of my house, all the mirrors inside and all my appliances - hands down one of the best tips ever - and - I don't even use a fancy high end cloth, I'm pretty sure the cloths I use were a 2-pack from the $1 store.
Any other great tips anyone wants to share?

Brining pork chops. Transforms them from fibrous and stringy to mouthwateringly tender.

I love my microfibre cloths! They're also great for polishing granite countertops. I definitely want to try brining some pork chops! I'll have to think of my own tip to add...

note to self: put microfiber cloths on the shopping list. I was cleaning a curio cabinet and I think I prefer it dusty to the streaks I left behind.

Use Seche Vita top coat for nail polish. I do my nails all the time now, because there is so little wait time to dry.
A tip I just learned from In Style magazine is for getting a good look with pastel polish. Apply a thin coat of color, then a coat of matte topcoat, then a coat of the color polish. I top with Seche Vita. No more streaks! A side benefit, I get a full week out of my manicure. It works with great dark colors, too.

I also use just barely damp microfiber clothes to clean the flatscreens on the tv/laptop.
I googled how to clean these types of screens and multiple sites said as long as it is barely damp, it is okay. Sopping wet, or any other kind of liquid, no.

Also use a barely damp micro fiber cloth to clean your stainless steel. Any one will work though I do have the 'special' 3m stainless steel micro fiber cloths, mostly because they are a steel gray color and i can easily keep them separate from the ones DH uses with cleanser elsewhere and the cleanser will mess them up so he knows not to mess with the gray ones.

Hmmm. Haven't tried any of these. I think I will have to get busy and see how they work for me.

I didn't get this on 2peas, but from my dad, but I know you'll love it anyway as corn season is upon us shortly! Take an ear of corn still in the husks. Put it in the microwave, no dish, no plastic or anything. Microwave for 4 minutes per ear of corn. Take them out and hold with a hotpad while you cut off the stalk end about 1 inch from the bottom of the ear. It is important to cut into the rows of corn so you clear where the silks are attached. Grab the top end and squeeze like toothpaste. You corn pops out perfectly cooked AND NOT A SINGLE SILK clinging to the cob. It's awesome!

This thread inspired me to do a deep clean in my tv room, kitchen and back porch. Thanks for the nudge! I had two microfiber towels in my rag basket and the front of my house is now sparkling

I definitely will try that. I am trying the brining pork chops today.
A tip I got from 2 peas and love is cooking cupcakes @ 50 degrees higher than recipe calls for the first 5 minutes. It gives them a nice full top.
