For anyone that wants the 411 on wraps, I am your guru! I sell and love them. When I get my custom wraps on this weekend I'll show you those! Shevy, a couple things, buy a rubber cuticle pusher from Sally beauty. They are inexpensive and are the single most effective tool you'll get. There is a difference between store wraps and Jamberry. Store brands are polish based which means they'll dry and chip like a polish. They are more brittle. They may even dry out before you get to use them. Jamberry is vinyl with a silicone adhesive. They'll never go bad. When you put on the Jamberry wraps, heat them for about 3 seconds and lay them down the middle of your nail and push them outward. Smooth with the cuticle pusher. Give it another blast of heat for about 6 seconds ish and smooth them again working from middle to outside. Don't overlap them onto your cuticle! Also, Think of Jamberry the same as a vinyl phone screen protector. The vinyl absorbs the shock of jarring them. I'm off to order! Thanks! Cool. Thanks! Something that will help is to make sure your nails are oil free. Wipe them with a little vinegar before you start. Moisturize your hands after your get your wraps on. One thing to note, when you take them off. I recommend the oil removal method. Pop the cuticle and soak in oil (olive, vegetable, etc) while working them off slowly. It neutralizes the adhesive and is a great way to moisturize your nails and hands at the same time.

Those who do wraps instead of polish, what is the trick to getting them right? I've bought them from the store, different brands, and I never can get them to apply correctly. I'd like to try them and see if they helped my nails vs polish, but I appear to be wrap-impaired. For anyone that wants the 411 on wraps, I am your guru! I sell and love them. Gale, it's www.anailtevolution.comJust a heads up, if your daughter is under 8? If so, she'll fit the Jamberry Juniors. Those will get kids 3 to 4 manis and pedis. For you US peeps, it is $15/ sheet and always buy 3, get 1 FREE. Each adult sheet will get you 2 full manis and pedis. Yo can even make your own (put photos and designs on them). Heads up, because those ones are custom, they are a little bit more.

I have on a coral color from Avon... which reminds me that I really need to repaint my toe nails! They're looking a little worse for the wear! DD wants to paint them for me (she's only 8) I let her in the winter when no one can see them = I usually end up with 10 different colored toes and glitter!

A red one from George @ Asda (owned by Walmart) - surprisingly OK for a cheapo bottle of polish!

I am currently wearing Big Apple Red shellac on my fingers and the matching OPI BAR on my toes. Red works well with my skin tone. However, I am thinking about going teal or blue this time. Would something teal or blue look ok on an OLD woman? JamH I'm 57 and wear teal, blue, green, pretty much all colors on my nails.

I have a teal Sinful polish on my toes. I put a Sinful teal glitter on the top. I really like it but it's been on there for about three weeks so it's about due for a change.
My fingers are naked right now recuperating from a lot of gel I've been doing. In the coming week I will be using Gelish Mali-blue Me Away, Sleek White, and Just in Case Tomorrow Never Comes (red) and doing something for the 4th of July with some vinyl white star stickers I bought from ebay. If it comes out good I will post a picture.

I'm not really a waitress - OPI My all time favorite red! This color is my holy grail of red nail polish. I wear it on my toes starting in September! I love this colour as well. I think it's the first OPI bottle I ever bought. Right now I have Essie carousel coral, with the ring fingers painted in OPI The Next CEO (a gold shimmer). The coral matched my dd's grad dress this week. On my toes I have OPI Tazmanian Made Me Do It - a darker coral. I'm making a list of all the colours mentioned above. Dd and I love polish!

I got my mani pedi this afternoon. I dinged a big toe when I was getting into the drying chair. Dinged a nail buckling my seat belt. Messed up a thumb nail fixing a snack for one of the kids. At this rate, they'll only last a few days. They used OPI in red with a fuchsia like tint to it.

I have an ombre french manicure with OPI Bubble Bath fading into OPI Alpine White. Toes are OPI Hey Baby. That is in Canadian funds. When you create an account to purchase, the US prices will pop up (it is a US company). Either way, the exchange rate works your price to back to $15 USD.

To be honest, you should have honed these skills in her from a far earlier age and you only have yourself to blame. At this stage in her life, you have limited time for an intervention. I suggest you take her shopping as soon as possible and then demonstrate the art of BUY/HIDE/'WHAT,DEAR, I'VE HAD THIS FOR MONTHS' as soon as you can!!

Actually I have been telling her but she has a horrible memory (although she can remember every line of the movie Epic and knows who did every voice in it).

I changed mine this morning. I only do my fingernails in colors, I keep my toenails neutral and close to skin tone since I have some scars and damage I don't want to draw attention to. But it's my first time using Zoya polishes. I had gone to Ulta for a few things this morning and they had Zoya buy two get one free. I used "Thandie" which is a slightly coral-ish orange with a creme finish. And on top of that I used "Jesy" which has a sheer jelly base in the same coral-ish orange tone with holographic glitter that gives an almost frosty sparkly finish. Very summery, very fun.
