... and some of the biggest, most controversial threads are gone.  While shorter or less controversial threads from the same time frame are still there. However, I did get the decorative towel thread, one of my all-time favorites. (Decorative towels? WHO KNEW??) I didn't want to research how to save it as a PDF, so I just saved each page as a text file, and later on I can go through them at my leisure and clean up the junk stuff. Then I'll post it in the 2peas history area. No pictures saved, but most of the pix posted in the thread were already labeled "unavailable" anyway. Anyone else got stuff they still need to post? Should I not bother with the decorative towels thread because someone else is already working on it? |

I grabbed a few the week they announced they were closing, but haven't had time to clean them up either. I don't believe I got the decorative towels one, though.
The ones I grabbed are just sitting in messy old text files in a folder, waiting for clean-up. Once I get around to it, I'll check to see which ones I may have that aren't already on the history board here, and I'll add them.

I wanted the Beadhound flame-out thread, as it was sort of personal to me. Gone! I wanted to look at the HOF threads, but the ones I had saved were gone also. I think some of them are preserved here already. I wanted to look at Donna Downey threads, but ditto the above. i don't remember what else. |

I have one of the HOF threads, if it is different then the one here I can post it. It is not the Anastasia one, but the one after Bernadette resigned, but still maintained her innocence. Pretty good reading!

I think several of these were saved and posted on the history board
Others were grabbed by some people for later posting to the board after they have time to edit
So, hopefully not all are gone. There were some great threads over the years.

The Donna Downey thread that I have is the thread started by Peace which brought about the whole Donna Downey thing, but I don't think I have the whole thing.
I would sometimes save a thread to the point it was at in the morning before work, because I thought it would be deleted by the time I got back from work. So this may have been one of those, and I missed the last pages.

I'm only working on 2 "inexpensive Christmas gift ideas" posts because it seems they are a help to at least a few each season.
I hope to have them ready to post in plenty of time. I'm trying to include links, which is time-consuming, but important on a thread like that.

I'd prefer the beadhound thread not be posted here please - that one was ugly from start to finish and not the kind of thing that I think we should be keeping here. Totally understand people keeping things themselves for their own personal reasons, but the other drama threads that have been posted here all have at least an element of humour (as far as I know, please tell me if I'm wrong) and I'd like to keep it that way.

I'm skimming the thread and they are referencing previous French teenager excuses and I didn't see beadhound say it. I was always under the impression that the Beadhound thread is where the French teenager thing came from. So where did the French teenager thing come from?
