I'm just not sure what to make, again. I'll post it in a while. My dinner idea switch is in the off position lately. If it's any consolation I know what I'm feeding my cats. Does that count? ETA: Dh requested a repeat taco night. Done! What's on your menu? Have a great day everyone.

Oh, feeding the cats counts. (To quote Cole & Marmalade's owner: "Their comfort is more important than yours." <- one of my favourite YouTube channels).
I'm going to make pizza for DS and DH later, DD, her friend and I ate at our local pizza place. I soooo wish I had something in the freezer for the guys, 'cause I really don't feel like cooking.

This evening I have to be at the airport for people going out and coming in so I am soon going to make some cheese on toast and maybe have some soup with it. I will grab coffee and cake at the airport to help while away the waiting time.

Off to dinner with the family. Mom is coming over for a little shopping in the big city (compared to her small town) and then dinner with the boy and his girl.
On a side note, she (my mom) is bringing over my NEW SEWING MACHINE!!! Okay, not new by any stretch of the imagination, picked up at her church's rummage sale and fits squarely into the vintage category but new to me. It is rumored to have every single bit and bob needed to make it work and it is coming to me today!! Yay me!!

We'll be having leftovers of this: Divas Can Cook Oven Fried ChickenThis is BY FAR the BEST oven-friend chicken I have ever had. I omitted the liquid smoke (mostly because I didn't have any) and it was amazing. I want to crust everything with croutons now!

DH thinks we have no plans, but I think he also believes that I can pull a dinner out of a hat. Tonight's attempt will be beef and broccoli. I found a tiny flatiron steak in the freezer, and we have leftover broccoli. So, yeah, that's dinner.

Something with chicken, TBD as the afternoon moves along. I'm thinking a chicken tortilla casserole and roasted Brocolli.

I bought a large package of chicken breasts from Aldi this morning for $1.49 lb. I will thinly slice these, bread them and make Chicken Schnitzel. I good portion will be frozen for quick dinners later, but we will have chicken schnitzel with a lemon sauce for dinner tonight, and served with homemade baked sweet potato fries, and some steamed broccoli.

Today is turning out to be one of those days where I make plans and then life insists I change them. For that reason, I'm reluctant to commit to a dinner plan. So.......I have no idea what dinner will be, but I can tell you that it will something that requires a minimum amount of effort (or advance planning ) on my part. Something along the lines of baked potatoes with chili (canned), something in a bun or tortilla (Italian beef, shredded mexican chicken, etc.) with a Knorr packaged side dish, sandwiches and canned soup, etc.

BF pulled a smoked chicken out of the freezer. I would like to make some smoked chicken alfredo, but he may have other ideas for it. So we'll probably have sandwiches with smoked chicken. I am going to add a little bacon, Swiss, lettuce and smoked tomato slices we canned a couple years ago. Leftover roasted potatoes, and the rest of the steamed broccoli.

Breakfast for dinner here: sunny side up eggs, bacon & toast.

A friend at work raises chickens and I buy a dozen eggs off her every couple weeks...I got a fresh dozen today so that means it's breakfast for dinner. We'll have eggs, toast and fried potatoes too.

First baseball game of the season, which means yet another long day. I pulled meatballs out of the freezer, dh and boys will have them with spaghetti, I'll have mine with whatever veggies I fancy once I pick up my weekly CSA.

It's Wing It Wednesday (kind of like Meatless Monday or Taco Tuesday, but for people who have NO clue what they will be having on Wednesday!).
Originally, it was Wing It Wednesday because DS was participating in the NHS sponsored Dodgeball Tournament. DH and I were going to go watch and starve, then figure out dinner later. Due to the weather, it has been postponed to a day in April that will require all spring athletes to withdraw. :-( Later in the afternoon, the district cancelled ALL pm activities, so even if the school had not cancelled it, the district would have! So, anyway, to make a long story longer, I think we will probably have pizza, possibly delivered (we literally live 3 minutes from the pizza place, but sometimes it is worth the delivery fee, and when the weather is crappy, I tip very, very well!)

Well, we were going to have a birthday dinner for my mom (she's 70 today!), but Mother Nature seems to have PMS and can't make up her mind about the weather--we've had sunshine, dark and cloudy, pouring rain, tornado warning, steady rain, rain with sunshine and heavy winds. All today. So, we rescheduled and now I get to cook hamburgers. Yay.
