A couple from Pittsburgh: I believe they are in Costco now, but until recently, Snappers were only local. (Caramel and chocolate covered pretzels). SnappersSarris Chocolates. My favorite, if forced to choose, is their cashew meltaway bar or egg. (Their chocolate covered pretzels were recently mentioned in People magazine by Sofia Vergara who recently married one of our hometown boys.) Sarris Chocolates

There isn't anything specific from Calgary but I will say that Alberta produces the most amazing beef in the world I kind of hate to say it because I think that cows are sooooo freaking cute ETA: There are these mini cinnamon sugar donuts that they sell at the Calgary Stampede that are totally addictive ... I'm sure other fairs have them too but we like to take credit for them

Sterzing's potato chips are popular in that area of the Midwest too. They're made in Burlington, IA and were my first thought.

Dorothy Lynch salad dressing. It's now available outside of Nebraska, but for the longest time people had to buy it here and mail it out of state.

I'm in Illinois so Kitchen Cooked chips are all over here.
My town has Boetje's Mustard, which has won awards in competitions and become more widely marketed.

So cool that it is made in Australia!! Actually the people are from Australia. They live and the company is based in a small town just west of Fort Collins, Colorado. It is about 5 miles from where I grew up and my parents still live.

Well a few things are 'world' famous in New Zealand but not really found anywhere else Hokey Pokey ice-cream (vanilla ice-cream with honeycomb toffee chunks) Pineapple lumps (chocolate coated chewy pineapple confectionary). L & P (Lemon & Paeroa - a kind of soft drink.)

Gypsy tart in Kent. Nowhere else in the UK sells it. It was a regular dessert served at my school dinners. No way thry would now, the sugar content is crazy.

I grew up in Moline, Illinois which isn't far from Peoria. One of the things that I've enjoyed from my hometown is Boetje's mustard. At least they sell it online now. I buy it buy the case and it lasts me quite a while.

Maurer's Dairy Bittersweet Ice Cream why this flavor hasn't taken off nationally is a mystery to me, it's a local favorite. It's very finely ground bitter chocolate in vanilla ice cream
Middleswarth Chips BBQ and Regular MIL gives us TUBS of these for Christmas.

(I just saw an article about a bag of them making it as a prop on TV recently. ) There's also a website called NEPA Snacks that will ship Middleswarth chips, TastyKakes, or local candy & honey to people who don't live in the area.
